Extreme paranormal episode 2

1st place in the bayou, they bury their mate and he reports scratching & knocking on the coffin (almost certainly from the safety crew to enhance the atmosphere) as his pals chase fricking shadows in the dark.
The "GET OUT" EVP is possibly the least clear recording since Edison recorded onto wax cylinders.

2nd place, an asylum. Lead guy gets spooked claiming he saw a man in a window. The whole floor he thought it was on turns out to be locked so Religious guy say "the only possible explanation is that you saw a spirit", yes or we could could with logic & say it was a trick of the light. Their "empathic shaman" helpfully finds them a room "full of energy" then bails on them like a complete girl.

Fat guy gets put in a straight jacket & they bail on him to go explore elsewhere, they hear a sound (like dragging) but it sounds completely different when they play it back, nothing like what I heard. Lead guy gets spooked by bats then Fat Guy thinks he hears kids laugh (I heard nothing but when he asks for a sign I was sure I heard a fart noise!) but the music box does go off a few times.

Lead guy lets them tie him down & apply electric shocks to him, to coincide with Religious guy getting a "spirit" to cross over a light tube falls over.

Personally I think their methods are a tad TOO extreme and that this shouldn't be picked up for a series.

Ghost Hunters S05E19 - Rocky Mountain Hauntings

No-one else had reviewed this weeks show yet so heres my take on things.

Briarhurst Manor, Colorado - This place was runner up in the Great American Ghost Hunt, I guess they figured as it was almost a year since the competition they'd dragged their heels long enough & decided to show another one of the locations that didn't win.

Hotspot walkthrough - Conservatory vase thrown, & Orchard a man saw a skeletal figure. Drawing Room, walls "bleed". Dining Room, ghost child seen. Foyer, figure seen & noises heard on stairs. Hallway, shadow people seen. Palmer Room, woman seen & kids heard in attic above them.

Jay & Grant in the Palmer room for about 10 seconds then they go up to the attic because Jay heard something above him, Grant tests a squeaky board which Jay deems "paranormal". Not just wood in a REALLY old house possibly settling then?

Steve & Tango in the foyer, they feel a cold spot which turns out to be a draft.

Jay & Grant in the Palmer room (again), Grant sees a light then they hear something thud above them.

Kris & Amy are summoned to check the Palmer Room, they hear sounds but I hear nothing so they go up to the attic where nothing happens.

Steve & Tango in the drawing room, nothing happened.

Jay & Grant try to debunk the bleeding wall but Jay hears a girls voice (I heard something on the replay but their dumb incidental music drowned it out) & they find a red cleaning fluid in a bathroom above the wall.

Steve & Tango try to debunk the skeletal figure outside, nothing happens apart from an apple falling off a tree.

Jay & Grant back in the Palmer room, you think they'd cover a room once then go elsewhere. They hear a female voice, Jay decides its not Kris & Amy outside.

Kris & Amy in the grounds trying to find the skeletal figure or the little girl, the noise they hear "in the woods" was cars on the road driving past.

Jay & Grant STILL in the Palmer Room, then the offices still hearing voices where I heard nothing.

Steve & Tango in the conservatory, Steve acts like a jerk with a mop. This is EXACTLY the stuff that got Brian fired, exactly HOW is Steve blackmailing Jay & Grant?

The Reveal - Some shadows are debunked, the "blood wall" is also debunked, the female voice they heard upstairs, a voice humming in the Palmer Room (could be anyone humming in the crew though), worst audio recording of attic footsteps ever (I still can't hear anything).

Seriously, you shouldn't be rewarding Steve by giving him a show for being a complete idiot during investigations.

Ghost Lab s01e04

My thoughts:- Tattoo Parlour & former funeral home, Chicago.
EVP's at the dead former owners chair, the thermal camera jumps down every time they say his name. They also pick up a voice that says "Turn me on" & play an old EVP that to me sounds exactly like the same person asking the questions during that EVP. They catch an EVP that the owners friends say IS him.

Miss Mollys Hotel & former bordello, Fort Worth Texas.
High EMF is found in a bathroom, a female investigator is left alone in a room where women have reported feelings of being watched, Brad plays an EVP that sounds like nothing but they hear the word dance in it.

Pretty poor really. These show seem to be getting worse by the week.

My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Impact 22nd Oct 09 reviewed

The catch-up is a little late this week due to it being slow to arrive on Usenet, show opens with Kurt Angle turning face & giving props to the boys backstage putting them over. Rhino comes out gobbing off to further his heel push & shoots on Team 3D.

Homicide vs Amazing Red - This had no introductions & was started by Homicide jumping Red in the entrance tunnel where they fought down the ramp, by the ring then the match finally got going legally. Red jobbed for the opening few minutes but his comeback was outstanding with the highlight being his Monkey Flip Piledriver but the match turned around again in seconds with Homicide taking the win off The Gringo Killer.

Matt Morgan vs Scott Steiner - With them announcing a 10 minute time limit it was pretty clear Russo is still holding the reins of Impact, this match was going nowhere & was dull at best when Steiner took a powder to go get himself fondled by Bobby Lashleys wife sitting in the front row near the ramp. Lashley did a run in to beat him up, rolled Steiner back into the ring & Morgan took the win off The Carbon Footprint. Dull as f**k.

Tag Match, Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash vs AJ Styles & Daniels - The tape on Daniels' shoulder was to cover the really high bump he took at the PPV, it was a very weak opening with Daniels going to tag in Styles who wasn't there having dived onto Joe so Nash hit Daniels with a Chokeslam to take an easy win. P**s poor match considering the ability of 3 of these guys.

Raisha Saeed vs Awesome Kong - We've been waiting for this match to roll around for quite a while so after the miscommunication at the PPV it had to happen, not much to call apart from Saeeds top rope Legdrop/Bulldog combo but Kong took the eventual win off The Implant Buster. Kong Powerbombing Saeed off the top of the ramp through a stage was done (I assume) to ensure the full write out of Saeeds character allowing her to concentrate on being Alissa Flash.

Rhino vs Hernandez - A weak match with no spots at all, with Team 3D at the colour desk I was half expecting them to interfere but it turned out to be a big no with Hernandez getting a clean win off a top rope Splash.

Backstage segment, JB interviews Kurt Angle & they are interupted by "Desmond Wolf" (former ROH star Nigel McGuiness) who jumps Angle.

Ultimate X Tag Match, Lethal Consequences vs The Motor City Machine Guns - The stipulation stated the winners get a title shot at the Turning Point PPV, this didn't start well but certainly picked up with too many moves to call going on (highlight had to be Sabins Tornado DDT) & its possible Shelley damaged his knee off the move on Lethal but Sabin took the win after unhooking the X & dropping to the ground.

6 Sides Of Steel Match for the TNA Tag Team Championship, The British Invasion vs Beer Money - Before this even started Robert Roode paused at the bottom of the ramp to hold his lower back & was taped up when the match started so he clearly did get injured taking that bad bump off Big Rob when he overshot a Powerbomb into a table landing on the concrete floor instead but I am quite frankly stunned to see him even walking let alone wrestling here tonight.

Generally this match was Roode jobbing with Storm saving him once but Doug Williams took a big bump falling from the top of the cage to the floor with what looked like quite a nasty landing (pretty bloody silly considering he'd possibly suffered a concussion at the PPV too), Beer Money hit the DWI on Williams but Magnus floored the ref & Earl Hebner came in to make the decision with Beer Money getting the win off a DQ but The British Invasion retain their titles.

Backstage segment, AJ Styles is jumped by a mystery man in the carpark but it was too dark to see who.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring and calls out Desmond Wolf who jumps him at the bottom of the ramp, they scrap a bit outside the ring but Wolf gets the upper hand when they get into the ring (mainly by kneeing Angle in the nuts) but what a great way to debut on Impact.

EDIT:- Having just read Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff have been hired by TNA this will be my final catch-up as I will not watch the show again. Or at least until they have left TNA.

Extreme paranormal episode 1

I think it was painfully obvious they were going to be rubbish right from the get go. The very 1st thing they did was split up? They hear a noise upstairs so the one guy NOT go with them is the dude with the parabolic mic. Way to make me trust you dude. Then the 2 guys upstairs split up & THEN we hear a door slam. Get stuffed!

"Just like a police chalk line man", clearly someone who doesn't watch CSI as he'd know no police ANYWHERE do that as it contaminates the crime scene. The mic dude getting spooked by a pidgeon was very funny, very steve & tango. Ii also noted every time 1 team member called the others to him they NEVER stated where they were - what floor or anything.

Mic guy gets an "evp" on his own, off camera. Too suspect. They run a jacobs ladder in a cell where they are also pumping saline solution. Did their science teacher never tell them water & electricity don't mix that well? "I just got really cold" in a short sleeve shirt at night, no kidding?

"I just saw a shadow" at night in the dark, obviously!

Ghost Lab s01e03

I was very unimpressed by this weeks episode, they really phoned that one in.

1 evp in the 1st location, some very dodgy screwing around scaring their crew to "investigate fear" and an extremely suspect set of scratches on one of the klinge brothers that looked too fresh as though he'd just done it to himself.

Plus their claim to hear the ghost going "m-hmm" in agreement. wheres your recording of it then boys, thats just anecdotal unless you play back a recording.

My TNA Catch-up, Bound For Glory V PPV Oct 09

Bound For Glory Preshow:- Tag Match, The Motor City Machine Guns vs Lethal Consequences - Introduced as having a 15 minute time limit (possibly taking up half the preshow then) & that the winners get to take part in the Ultimate X match on the PPV. Consequences Creed & Alex Shelley kicked this off quite well but I have to say Creed has got to start being less obvious about his thigh slaps that ape impact shots as we blatantly saw him do it twice in the space of a few seconds & neither time did he attempt to hide the fact he was slapping his thigh rather than kicking his opponant. This had a fairly dull middle but the last few minutes were pretty decent with Shelley nailing a great Springboard Tornado DDT on Lethal but the eventual win came when Shelley hit a Flying Cross Body Block off the top turnbuckle on Creed so Sabin & Shelley qualify for the Ultimate X match later tonight.
Bound For Glory V PPV
Ultimate X Match for the X Division Championship, Chris Sabin vs Alex Shelley vs Suicide vs Homicide vs Daniels vs Amazing Red - D'Angelo Dinero had travelled to the PPV & was due to appear in this match but had "family problems" which meant TNA did Creative on the fly turning the preshow tag match into a qualifying match for this bout to replace Dinero and then some.
This was a good match, Red hit a Hurricanrana on Daniels off the top turnbuckle taking him to the ground. I'm pretty sure Suicide hurt himself taking Homicide off the ropes as he took a hard nasty looking landing, Red was a bit too obvious in his signals to both Suicide & Daniels to get them to come to him to perform spots though. It was also pretty obvious when Daniels checked Sabin was ready before nailing him with the BME, both Daniels & Suicide took a long fall that sent one of the refs in to check on them before Amazing Red unhooked the belt to retain his X Division Title.
Knockout Tagteam Championship, The Beautiful People (with Lacey Von Erich) vs Taylor Wilde & Sarita - Von Erich kissed the ref to bribe him to let her stay ringside which brought out Senior Offical Earl Hebner, Von Erich tried the same trick on him but he still sent her back to the locker room. To be honest this was quick (a bit TOO quick) with almost no spots to speak of with Sarita nailing the Dropkick on Rayne allowing Wilde to hit the Bridging Suplex to take the win & retain their titles. I get the feeling Rayne may have bashed Wilde in the nose with the back of her head as Wilde was holding her nose after the match.
3 Way Match for the Legends Championship, Hernandez vs Eric Young vs Kevin Nash - To be honest all we figured this match was going to focus on was the bad blood between Super Mex & Young, as Young had offered Nash money it looked like they were going to try & double team Hernandez but he managed to floor Nash & sent Young to the ground. Nash was sent into a ringpost putting him out but not for long, Hernandez spent a large amount of this match on the receiving end of a beatdown but I wondered how long it would be before Young tried to screw Nash over.
Predictably enough Young called for Nash to hit the Jack Knife Powerbomb but once Hernandez was in position Young used him as a battering ram to floor Nash then hooked his leg to take the win & Eric Young is the new Legends Champion. I did wonder where the blood on the canvas had come from but it turned out it was from Hernandez as it was all over his cheek & lips.
Full Metal Mayhem Tag Team Championship, Booker T & Scott Steiner vs Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams vs Beer Money vs Team 3D - Both TNA Tag titles & the IWGP belts were on the line but the stipulation stated the winners can only win 1 set of titles, which ever belt the winner grabs is the title they will win. Tables, ladders & chairs are all legal and this kicked off with The British Invasion & Storm jumping Devon as the MEM & Roode jumped Ray.
In the last few weeks rumours have circulated that Booker is allowing his contract to expire so he can return to WWE so this may be his final TNA PPV appearance, it was also rumoured that the IWGP bigwigs had been unhappy when The British Invasion had won their titles in a match that was unsanctioned by them so the prediction here was that Team 3D were going to win the IWGP titles back again. Taz was quite right to call out Booker on a badly executed Spinebuster on Storm so it looked like Booker was pretty much going to phone this match in as far as he was concerned but it was clear the camera van had been told to take no shit so they cut away when Booker did the Spinaroonie to focus on Steiner choking Devon with an electrical cable.
I'm not sure if Beer Money were shooting when they nailed Booker with the DWI but he spent a while outside the ring as Steiner hit an excellent Frankensteiner on Doug Williams who totally sold it, it could have been a work as Sharmell came out to check on him & a couple of refs were milling around him on the ground & EMS took him off on a gurney. Team 3D came in to cover the gaps levelling pretty much everyone as Devon put Williams through a table, 3 more tables were put up & Team 3D hit stereo Chokeslams driving both of Beer Money through a table each.
Steiner levelled Ray & Devon with a chairshot each then again with a ladder but he was sent into the 3rd table with an assist from Team 3D, Devon went up the ladder to grab the IWGP belt as Rhino ran in to nail Ray with a chair then knocked Devon off the ladder but not before Devon had got the IWGP belt so Team 3D are new IWGP Heavyweight Tag Champions again.
I'm not exactly sure why the match didn't end there (the introductions should have made it MUCH clearer that both titles HAD to be won) but Beer Money were left fighting with The British Invasion & they double Suplexed Doug Williams off the top of 2 ladders, Storm spat beer into the face of Magnus before hitting him with a Hurricanrana taking Magnus off the ladder the hard way. Storm had floored Williams again when Big Rob ran in before throwing Roode out of the ring through a table (which he totally overshot with a VERY bad very hard landing causing the ref to go check on him right away) which allowed Doug Williams to grab the last belt & The British Invasion are the new TNA Tag Champions. I'm pretty sure Robert Roode will be pretty badly injured from his fall and it looked like Doug Williams was also injured as he was barely able to stand without support, possibly with a concussion.
3 Way Match for the Knockouts Championship, Awesome Kong vs Tara vs ODB - It was clear from the get go this wasn't going to be pretty with Kong jumping Tara then ODB right at the bell but Tara & ODB had a quick double team that was soon halted by Kong. Kong tried a Splash on them both but catching nothing but canvas so Tara & ODB teamed up again hitting a double Shoulder Charge followed by a Double Suplex which I was amazed to see Kong actually selling.
Obviously neither Tara or ODB were going to let each other cover Kong so they traded blows before Tara tried a Cross Body Block that ODB caught turning it into a rather sloppy looking Fall Away Slam, Tara made a nice Tarantula Stretch but Kong broke it up. Tara made a decent Reverse Moonsault into Kong & ODB for a near fall then was sent to the floor by Kong for her trouble (who the hell was that woman Tara was facing off with by the guard rail in the crowd? It clearly wasn't a work as the match actually stopped for a moment as ODB, Kong & the ref were checking out what was going on - A quick Google says it was MMA fighter Kim Couture, apparently they claimed the spot WAS a work made to look like a shoot but its funny how no-one in the ring knew anything about it nor did the colour guys so I call BULLS**T on it being a work).
Tara had bailed on the match and ODB kept trying to lift Kong which she did manage eventually, Tara did return barely breaking a 3 count after ODB was nailed with a Splash. ODB took an Implant Buster then Raisha Saeed came out & threw a chair into the ring which Kong kicked away twice, ODB had been taken up for another Implant Buster which she reversed into a DDT as Saeed had pushed the chair back so Kong landed on the chair allowing ODB to hook the leg and retain her title. I guess this is the start of Saeed & Kong breaking up then so we can finally see more of Alissa Flash with the hopeful "departure" of Saeed?
Submission Match, Samoa Joe vs Bobby Lashley - With a 15 minute time limit so we don't get bored? This was too slow & VERY dull Lashley made a Legsweep to take Joe down & had him in a Side Headlock when Earl Hebner called for the bell awarding the win to Lashley (and it was unclear why as Joe hadn't visibly tapped out), I assume Hebner had decided Joe wasn't concious (his eyes were rolling like crazy post match) hence Lashley getting the win.
Monsters Ball Match, Abyss vs Mick Foley - With Special Guest Referee Dr. Stevie, the stipulations were CLEARLY announced as "No DQ & ANYTHING goes" despite the fact that Foley had banned Abyss from using thumbtacks so clearly someone hadn't told the ring announcer making TNA look like complete c**ts. Foley jumped Abyss on the ramp with his barbed wire baseball bat so he was never introduced.
Abyss had bladed (after Foley used the barbed wire baseball bat on his head) & it was pretty clear from the barbed wire boards around the ring that Abyss has been watching Foleys King Of Deathmatch tape because Abyss wound up taking a Double Underhook DDT into one of the barbed wire boards, Foley was Slingshotted into another board by Abyss who ended up in a barbed wire board sandwich after Foley sidestepped an attempted Splash.
Foley made a nice Elbow Drop as Abyss was still covered by both boards but Abyss kicked out of the pin attempt with several clear cuts on his arm which was also bleeding, Foley poured out the thumbtacks & Stevie had to remind Abyss he couldn't use them or face DQ so Abyss hit Stevie with Shock Treatment as Daffney ran out to pass Foley the tazer which Foley used on Abyss.
Foley called down another ref who made possibly the worst 2 count I have ever seen (it actually WAS a 3 count & Abyss totally kicked out too late hence the massive boos from the crowd) which the colour desk did their utmost to try & cover but failed miserably, Foley was going for a barbed wire Socko Claw (have TNA not reminded him several times he can't use that name?) but Abyss hit a Drop Toe Hold taking Foley down onto a barbed wire board. The replacement ref made a 2 count before Stevie pulled him out and floored him with a punch.
This had distracted Abyss & Daffney climbed up onto the 2nd rope but Abyss Chokeslammed her through another of the barbed wire boards that had been set up between the ring & guardrail (incidently TNA might want to fire the director who was on the wrong camera so we didn't even SEE Daffney go through the barbed wire board so she took a nasty bump for no reason), Stevie came in & starting whaling on Abyss & took off the ref shirt only to get a Black Hole Slam onto the thumbtacks for his trouble.
Foley was Chokeslammed into a barbed wire board in the ring then Abyss dragged Stevie over & used his arm to make the count and take the win. (Are they REALLY going to let THAT count as a win?) Fortunately as they were showing the highlights we DID get to see Daffney take the Chokeslam through the barbed wire board.
Matt Morgan vs Kurt Angle - Another match with a 15 minute time limit, I didn't expect much in the way of action as I don't rate either guy as a wrestler. This was pretty dead until the last 5 minutes with both guys using most of their moves then, Morgan was stunned after Angle kicked out after The Hellavator & a hard Clothesline (by this point I assumed they were going to the time limit & calling this a draw) but Angle took the win off a Victory Roll within seconds of the time limit.
World Heavyweight Championship, Sting vs AJ Styles - Before this match rumours had abounded that this would be Stings final match for TNA as he was retiring, by the time the bell went this was only ever going to be a maximum of 20 minutes long. After several spots it became pretty obvious that both Sting & Styles were really enjoying this match as they both kept grinning wildy at each other, Sting was even polite enough to hold open the ropes for Styles after he was sent to the floor.
Styles nailed a lovely Enzuigiri on Sting leading to a near fall but Sting came back with a couple of nice Bulldogs, Styles sold a really high looking Backdrop off Sting like crazy before hitting a great Dropkick. Both guys got a taste of guard rail missing Splashes on each other with Styles interupting Earl Hebners count to allow Sting time to get back into the ring, Sting got a near fall himself off a Piledriver but by this time the match was backwards & forwards between both guys as to who was on top and closest to victory.
Styles took 2 successive Scorpion Death Drops kicking out of a pin but Sting went for the Scorpion Deathlock which Styles managed to get out of but he came VERY close to tapping out, Styles then really sold a Clothesline for all he was worth only just kicking out of the pin that followed it. After nailing Sting with a Headbutt Styles took a nasty tumble off the top turnbuckle before connecting with The Pele off the apron which Sting certainly wasn't expecting but Styles made a Springboard Splash to take the win to retain his title.
It took 3 different microphones before Styles was able to talk to Sting postmatch, it had been mooted that if Sting lost he was going to retire. Sting did a pretty decent job of putting Styles over and passing the torch with the fans chanting "please don't go" and "1 more year" but he was pretty cryptic about if he's retired or not. I guess we will have to wait until this weeks Impact to find out if Booker T actually is going or not, likewise for Sting.

Ghost Hunters S05E17 - Fort Henry

Fort Henry, Kingston Canada.
I assume they investigated here when they were doing the jail last week, you wouldn't want to drive ALL the way to Canada JUST for 1 investigation, right?

Hot spot tour - Parade Square (figure seen), Dry Ditch (man seen & voices heard), Officers Quarters #3 (rocking chair moves, kids have chest pains), Wine Cellar (shadow seen, room felt cold), Reverse Firing Chamber (whispers heard), Bakery (footsteps heard, doors slam).

Jay & Grant in Officers Quarters #3, a door opens (behind Grant & off camera). Jay knocks on the glass & gets a response (sounding like it was beside or behind them, certainly not in front), both K2 meters go off (of course they would, their facing each other, its a feedback loop!)

Kris & Amy in Officers Quarters #3, noises are heard (it sounded like mice or rats scuttling) & a wooden thud (when Amy was off camera oddly enough). Kris hears something down the corridor (I heard nothing) & they both hear something behind them (again I heard nothing).

Steve & Tango in the Wine Cellar, both the cold & shadows are debunked. Jay & Grant in the Bakery, Jay hears a noise they follow through several rooms & Grant sees a figure outside the window. As they are in the schoolroom a door is seen to shut on its own behind them, the door also shuts when Jay asks. (Possibly a weighted door designed to shut under its own momentum after a certain amount of time open?).

Kris & Amy in Officers Guardhouse (why, it wasn't on the Hot Spot Tour?), EVP done as a figure was seen there. A huge exhale was heard @ 25:40 (without Amy in shot so suspect there) but Kris asks if she heard a knock or tap (I heard neither). They ask for knocks then a rhythmic noise is heard twice (almost mechanical).

Steve & Tango in the Bakery, knocking heard @27.54. Jay & Grant in the Reverse Firing Chamber, acoustics debunked. Steve & Tango in the Reverse Firing Chamber, they leave due to spiders.

My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Impact 15th Oct 09 reviewed

This weeks show is 3 hours long and has been called Super Impact, show opens with The MEM yakking on the mic, they are interupted by the faces and it devolves into a fist fight between Samoa Joe & Bobby Lashley.
6 Woman Knockout Contest, The Beautiful People vs Tara, Awesome Kong (with Raisha Saeed) & ODB - The match was announced as having a 10 minute time limit and I must say Lacey Von Erich is either VERY brave or has really good tit tape as she came out wearing a strapless tube top with nothing under it and I could see a costume malfunction on the horizon. At the bell Kong jumped ODB & Tara so Sky, Rayne & Von Erich took advantage as Kong bailed on them totally until Tara left the ring so she jumped Tara again sending her back first into the guard rail.
ODB was being doubleteamed by Sky & Rayne as Tara made it back to the apron but ODB eventually managed to get some respite after flooring Rayne with a nice Clothesline, Tara eventually came in but Sky totally took too long to sell (or no-sell rather) a fist to the back, Tara was going for something off the ropes when ODB tagged herself in and the 2 faced off with Tara eventually nailing ODB with a nice Superkick allowing Sky to pin for the win.
Very poor match which has done a bad job creating heat for the PPV. I assume Lacey Von Erich had similar concerns about her costume hence her not getting into the ring for the match at all.
X Division Championship Match, Suicide vs Amazing Red (with Don West) - Another match with a 10 minute time limit so Russo is well & truly at the helm as far as match booking goes at the moment. Really good match, highlights being Reds Twisting Corkscrew Body Block over the top rope into Suicide on the floor, Reds Spinkick to the head of Suicide & Suicides Springboard Legdrop. Suicide had gone high risk when Russo decided it was the perfect time to ruin the match & D'Angelo Dinero did a run-in to push Suicide off the top rope so the ref called for the bell calling the match a no contest with Red making a save on Suicide stopping Dinero hitting the DDE.
Run The Gauntlet Match, Hernandez vs Doug Williams (Match 1 of 3) - Eric Young joins the colour desk, Williams was on top for most of this until Hernandez took the win off a Shoulder Tackle.
Run The Gauntlet Match, Hernandez vs Brutus Magnus (Match 2 of 3) - Williams hadn't left the ring & jumped Hernandez allowing Magnus to get the upper hand, not a very good match really either. Hernandez took the win off The Border Toss.
Run The Gauntlet Match, Hernandez vs Big Rob (Match 3 of 3) - Hernandez took the win off a Sitout Powerbomb and as expected Young left the colour desk to jump Hernandez with a Kendo stick.
D'Angelo Dinero vs Daniels - As Dinero had already jumped Suicide tonight you could hardly expect this match to have a clean finish either, this match was going nowhere with nothing much happening either until Daniels took the win off The Angels Wings pretty much out of nowhere. Daniels victory celebration was interupted by Suicides intro music but when the smoke cleared "Suicide" was far too small & stocky to be Frankie Kazarian who is usually in the costume, all was revealed once "Suicide" nailed Daniels with The Gringo Killer as he unmasked to reveal Homicide.
Mick Foley comes to the ring with Popcorn and a home made cardboard Abyss mask to further their storyline.
Falls Count Anywhere Match, Hamada vs Alissa Flash - Flash didn't even get an intro as she jumped Hamada as she was being introduced, Flash punted Hamada all the way down the entrance ramp then set up a table against the ringpost. Hamada reversed a Slingshot nailing a nice Spin Kick on Flash putting her down. Flash & Hamada traded Forearm shots back up the ramp until Flash was pushed off 1 side before Hamada dived off the ramp hitting Flash with an Inverted Cross Body Block getting a 2 count, this allowed Hamada to set up the table by the side of the ring flooring Flash with another wicked Spin Kick. Flash was laid out on the table & Hamada went to the top turnbuckle but Flash cut her off trying a Suplex into the table which Hamada blocked then Hamada hit Flash with a DDT driving her into the apron as she jumped to the floor, Flash was laid out on the table once more with Hamada nailing a Reverse Moonsault to make the pin for the win in this excellent match.
Stretcher Match, Rhino vs Bobby Lashley - I really didn't want to watch this as I can't personally stand either guy, I assume the rule was the winner is the man who puts his opponant into the ambulance on the stretcher? Lashley took the win, VERY boring.
Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles - This match had a 20 minute time limit just to make things different, the opening section was pretty dull until Angle decided to nail Styles with a Flip Dive over the top rope to the floor, things got slow again with Angle keeping it on the mat then the match stayed dead until the last 5 minutes. Each guy was hitting move after move but this one went right down to the wire with Angle getting the Ankle Lock as the bell went Angle thought he'd won as the time limit had expired the match was called as a draw.
With just under 30 minutes of show left I did wonder what they were going to do to fill it, Sting came down to speak to Styles in the ring then they just ran an extended video package advertising the various matches for this weekends PPV. Considering this was billed as a 3 hour show 54 minutes was adverts and 30 minutes was wasted at the end running down all the matches for the PPV. Russo was obviously running tonights show as every match had a time limit and that is one of his big gimmicks from the old TNA Asylum days.
We only got 7 matches (9 if you count all of the Hernandez Gauntlet matches as individual bouts) only 2 of those didn't have actual finishes (1 no-contest & 1 draw) but TNA really shot themselves in the foot by building this up so much then having so many short matches with so much other c**p that wasn't wrestling but either video packages or backstage c**p. Even if all 7 matches had gone to their time limits they would have only filled 1 hour & 20 minutes so not even half the show was wrestling.

Home Time

Glaring mistakes we spotted in this weeks episode.
The 4 of them got into Careys upstairs with their jackets on (never going to happen) AND without paying on the till upstairs.

Oh and one of their extras was stood outside The Town Crier with a bottle in her hand and as any self respecting Cov person would know it's illegal to drink outside in the City Centre.

Ghost Lab s01e02

I am currently watching this weeks episode from Tombstone and here are a few thoughts.
EVPs - the one they say sounds like "Choose" (@13:14), personally all I can hear is a voice saying "Scum!".
The speaker - odd that they allowed an employee to remain in the building during an investigation, as far as I am concerned anything that happened there was under suspicion.
Shadow Pictures, the one they show @ 28:16 is a classic of example of the mind creating an image from nothing at all.
However what they seem to gloss over on the picture of the "Shadow Man" they get is that about 3 feet to the right of him when they show the full image is another person (@37:05).

There are 2 of them just like I said. Darkness & perspective sure are tricky eh?

The only way I have altered these images is to add the circles and to crop them.

With a little effort and observation I have debunked their Shadow Man, its a metal fence post.

Motion Detectors - Where the guys says "make this thing go off" and it does. But the only problem is you have zero clue where the detector is in relation to the camera as its dark so anyone could have been mucking about near it. When asked to "do it again now" it does within a few seconds.

My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Global Impact 2 8th Oct 09 reviewed

Coming from The Tokyo Dome in Japan, last years Global Impact was on 4th Jan 08 & aired on 17th Jan 08 a mere 2 weeks later. According to the date on the billboard we saw this event happened on Sunday 4th Jan 09 yet is being aired on 8th Oct 09 so thats 9 months & 4 days later. I think it was pretty stupid of TNA to hold back the broadcast of this for so long as TNA now is completely different to what it was in January this year (Don West was still on commentary & Sting was mentioned as still being a MEM Member).
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Championship Match, The Motor City Machine Guns vs Tetsya Naito & Yujiro (No Limit) - At some point near the start of this match Shelley took a blow to the face & spent the rest of the bout bleeding from the mouth or nose, a pretty decent match but the pace was up & down so the match felt very weird to watch. Shelley hit Sliced Bread as Sabin nailed a Powerbomb on Naito to take the win & The Motor City Machine Guns became new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Champions.
8 Man Tag Match, Giant Bernard, Karl Anderson, Takashi Iizuka & Tomohiro Ishii vs Rikki Choshu, Masa Chono, Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash - A fairly boring match that was really just a time filler, Angle took the win after Anderson tapped out of the Ankle Lock. Really this was just TNA giving some Elder statesmen of Japanese wrestling the chance to appear on a tv show.
IWGP Heavyweight Tag Championship, Team 3D vs Togi Makabe & Toru Yano - Yano came carrying a steel chair & Makabe had a steel chain around his neck so these 2 guys clearly meant business, there was only ever going to be about 7 minutes of action as thats all the time that was left in the show so I wasn't hoping for much here. We had a couple of tables being broken (Brother Ray was Slingshotted face first into one & Makabe was Powerbombed by Ray into the other) but this match wasn't very good, Brother Ray took the win off Makabe after hitting the 3D and Team 3D became new IWGP Heavyweight Tag Champions.
I guess I can see why they held off so long showing this now, it was utter s**t.

My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Impact 8th Oct 09 reviewed

Show opens with Abyss challenging Mick Foley to a Monsters Ball match at the Bound For Glory PPV, Foley accepts but bans the use of thumbtacks & appoints Dr. Stevie as special guest referee.
Legends Championship Match, Hernandez vs Kevin Nash - We didn't get a proper introduction only finding out this was a title bout when Nash came to the ring. This match was going nowhere when Eric Young ran in & took out the legs of Hernandez causing the ref to call for the bell calling the result as a no contest. A typically s**t Russo inspired finish.
X Division Championship Match, Amazing Red vs Samoa Joe - The 2nd match with no proper introductions, only Joe was introduced as Red was already in the ring. I did wonder how long this match would go before Bobby Lashley came down & it was less than 2 minutes, that allowed Red to hit a Missile Dropkick then a nice Roundhouse Kick to the head of Joe. Joe told the ref he wanted Lashley in the ring which Earl Hebner allowed (are they really going to screw Amazing Red not only out of his title shot but out of a possible win too?) & the 2 of them exchanged blows until Lashley hit a nice Full Nelson Slam then bailed allowing Red to nail a wicked Reverse Corkscrew Moonsault then a Standing Moonsault to take the win & Amazing Red is the new X Division Champion.
Tag Match, D'Angelo Dinero & Homicide vs Daniels & Suicide - And our 3rd match with no proper intro as Dinero & Homicide were already in the ring, what the f**king hell are TNA playing at tonight? The 1st half of this match was Suicide jobbing & generally being owned by the heel team until Daniels came in, Homicide went crazy and attacked one of the Spanish announce team as Daniels hit a Single Arm Chokeslam on Dinero in the ring. Homicide grabbed his foot stopping the BME which allowed Dinero to hit the DDE to take the win for their team.
Mike Tenay annouces that Team 3D, The MEM, Beer Money & The British Invasion will have a 4 way ladder match for the TNA Tag titles & the IWGP Heavyweight Tag titles at Bound For Glory. The contract signing ends in a brawl. Don't they always?
TNA Knockout Tag Team Elimination Match, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Alissa Flash & Traci vs Sarita, Taylor Wilde, Christy Hemme & Hamada - Rules were explained as if you get pinned or submit your eliminated, this was fairly fast paced with Traci totally flubbing a Jawbreaker on Hemme who sold it & really shouldn't have as it looked stupid and led to Hemme being elimnated when Traci pinned her from it.
Hamada & Flash went at it & took it outside the ring to the front of the colour desk to the floor (where Taz was happy to see & call a cat fight) as the ref put the count on them Sarita & Velvet Sky were working in the ring as the ref stated both Flash & Hamada had been counted out & eliminated. Sky kicked out of a lovely Bridging Suplex from Wilde only to nail her with DDT to eliminate Wilde leaving Sarita outnumbered 3 to 1.
Sarita quickly eliminated Traci off either a Pumphandle Slam or a Belly To Belly Suplex (it was hard to tell which), she also eliminated Sky off a sloppy Small Package (either badly executed or Sky didn't sell it as it looked b***dy atrocious). In a crappy Russo inspired idea Alissa Flash came back out to distract the ref allowing Lacey Von Erich to nail Sarita with a Chokeslam after Sarita had hit Rayne with a great Double Underhook Powerbomb, Rayne made the pin to take the win for her team thanks to the interference of Von Erich.
Sting comes out to the ring to accept the challenge of AJ Styles @ the PPV. Samoa Joe calls out Bobby Lashley & hits a great Elbow Drop putting Lashley through the Spanish announce table.
TNA Knockout Championship, Tara vs ODB - Not a bad opening but Tara flubbed her Crossbody Block attempt or ODB caught it badly as ODB struggled to execute the follow up Fallaway Slam correctly too. This actually had been shaping up to be a half decent match when Awesome Kong came out carrying a sledgehammer (almost certainly an idea by Russo) making SoCal Val take Poison the spider off the apron so Kong could squash it with the hammer (I can hear the calls going into the American Humane Society already), Tara used the ropes to kick Kong away. ODB took advantage nailing a Necktie off her shoulders to take the win & retain her title.
Russo READ THIS - We DO NOT need your bulls**t intereference ideas to improve a match, so far EVERY run-in tonight has been F**KING S**T. Be told you retarded c**t!
Tag Match, Mick Foley (with Dr. Stevie & Daffney) & Kurt Angle vs Abyss & Matt Morgan - Actually this is the 2nd time Morgan & Abyss have teamed as Morgan turned heel after abandoning Abyss during a match the last time they were together. Abyss & Angle started off with Abyss Goozling Angle who made a great Roll-up into the Ankle Lock with Foley using the Barbed Wire Baseball Bat from the apron, eventually things broke down and Morgan took the win after hitting Foley with The Carbon Footprint.
During the course of tonights show they were advertising that they were showing Global Impact 2 afterwards (which I will review when I have watched it) & that next weeks show will be called Super Impact as it will be 3 hours long.

Ghost Hunters S05E16 - Glimmer Man

Last week I made some notes on the show, this week they snowballed into an actual review.
All opinions are my own based what I saw and heard as I was watching.

Ok as with last week I took notes as I was watching.
1st thought, they aren't very safe on the drive to the investigations are they? Its always the driver who drives 1 handed and uses the walkie talkie. Its not like they don't all drive in pairs and haven't got a spare person who IS NOT driving to hold the walkie talkie. Can anyone familiar with American traffic laws comment on if that'd be classed as dangerous driving or failure to be in control of the vehicle?

Right, if the show wants to start regaining ANY credibility can they stop with the stupid suspenseful music in the background? Its VERY annoying and extremly distracting.

USS Salem, Walkthrough of hotspots.
Windlass Room, former worker & tour guide had died there - people report seeing & talking to him.
Hospital Spaces, woman seen & heard.
Machine Shop, person shape seen & footsteps heard above the archivists section.

Where cameras are set, Hospital Spaces, Hallway & Machine Shop & Hospital beds (why?).

Jay & Grant claim to hear footsteps in the windlass room (I only heard the electrical buzzing) which they follow then Jay says it "sounds like a woman". They move on & hear something else (I heard a creak), Grant thinks he sees something move or its a red light. They move in to explore & Jay sees something move (neither time the camera was pointing at the movement) then Jay hears footsteps (I heard nothing).

Joe Chin (on loan from GHI) & Amy in the Hospital Operating Room, after Amy opened & closed a drawer we hear a creak. Amy tries to debunk it by opening a door (the sound is similar but slightly different) then Amy asks for another sound & the creak happens again (quieter and further away).

Steve & Tango in the bakery (why? no reports were made about it during the walkthrough), Steve with the cake. If this had been Brian Harnois he would have been fired, Jay & Grant REALLY need to crack down on the bull that these 2 wise-***** are pulling. I want Steve fired, as soon as possible. They both hear audible regular banging, almost like machinery (from 13.37 - 14.43). Tango thinks its someone else doing a debunk test (so why not ask right away, he had the walkie talkie in his hand), Steve then radios Joe & Amy who say its not them. Note that neither team radios Jay or Grant about it. Why?

Jay & Grant in the Barber shop (again why, no activity was reported there during the walkthrough), Jay thinks he hears footsteps (its just banging, again a regular interval bang like Steve & Tango heard - certainly NOT footsteps, wrong kind of sound). They go to explore (I assume Jays finger waving is him hearing the sound, I heard nothing) & heard a metallic noise (they get a different noise when they go towards it twice, neither time is the camera facing the right way) - unable to debunk or explain they just give up like the lazy **** they are.

Joe & Kris in the Sheet Metal Shop (below the Machine Shop), nothing happens they just have creepy feelings.

Evidence Analysis - A camera is turned (thrown out), Jay & Grant EVP "here comes that ghost" then we hear nothing - Tango reacts like its really intense though.

The Reveal - Jay talks about constant K2 hits (never was this shown during the investigation) which Grant explains cause weird feelings, Jay tries to pass off personal experiences as evidence (so much for them "never doing this", lying ****) the footsteps he "heard" (there were none), Grant mentions the moving shape the camera failed to get.

As actual evidence they present the banging Steve & Tango heard in the bakery, only the clip they play has the quietest section of the banging we heard on camera from 13.37-14.43. They also play the creak Amy & Joe heard in the hospital & an EVP that Jay & Grant caught as they say out loud "here comes that ghost" (very suspect, on demand?) then you hear a really quiet whisper which can't be made out or understood.

Cornwall Jail, Ontario, Canada - Walkthrough of hotspots.
Solitary, people have seen a shadow walking around, footsteps heard.
Custody Hallway, womans screams heard.
General Population area, doors heard slamming, a face seen.

Where cameras are set, we are not told as it cuts right to the investigation (General Population, Steve mentions it)

Steve & Tango in General Population, nothing happens.

Kris & Amy in Solitary, Amy felt anxious (pipes above them, possible fear cage?) & Kris notices the pipes so EMF tests them. They give high readings up to 62, anxious feeling debunked as fear cage.

Jay & Grant in the Custody Hallway, I hear female voices @ 34.55 (possibly Kris & Amy nearby?) just before Jay reacts to a bang off camera (in the direction of Grant who is nowhere to be seen, oddly enough). Grant cant be seen when the camera pans round to the door but is mysteriously back about a foot away from the door when they radio in what the noise was (claiming the cell door shut itself).

Kris & Amy follow up in the same area, Kris is frightened by a dummy & Grant tries to deny he was anywhere the slamming cell door.

Evidence Analysis - Steve finds a scream on an EVP.

The Reveal - Grant explains the fear cage in the Solitary Hallway (but doesn't use the term, why?), Jays camera view of the cell door slam (funny how he was right by Jay yet we couldn't see him? Suspect?), EVP from Custody Hallway a womans scream (must have been from a static digital recorder) & Jay says Limestone buildings are susceptible to Paranormal energy.

Ghost Lab s01e01

I think the era cues ideas were interesting as was reviewing evidence on the fly.
I think the fact they have a disclaimer stating nothing is altered or faked is good too.

They had 2 pretty decent investigations using very unusual but interesting methods and I really enjoyed watching the show.

I think it was a different enough approach from GH & GHI to stand out on its own.
Its a matter of how it develops over a series, also if they keep the disclaimer on EVERY show or not.
As soon as that goes you know the money men got to them.

On a side note, does ANY Paranormal team hire anyone for their tech team as long as they have a foreign sounding name or aren't from America?
Harnois (French), Gonsalves (Spanish or Mexican), Fitzgerald (Irish). And the tech guys for this were all Hispanic as well.

Can you not get a job in a Paranormal Tech Team with an Anglocised name?
Not being a racist, its just an observation.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown 2nd Oct 09 reviewed

Considering this was a celebration of a decade of WWE Smackdown we had current TNA star Kurt Angle appear (at 1:05 & 1:47).
Batista vs Kane - Very dull match, Batista won off the Batista Bomb (did he hurt his leg doing it as he looked in agony).
Eddie Guerrero remembered on video, we see how thin Vicky used to be and I barely recognised Dean Malenko. The 10 bell salute got me going though, some of those clips were old WCW & ECW clips too!
Tag Match, John Morrison & Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler & The Miz - I thought Morrison went solo to get AWAY from tag matches yet here he is back in the s**t again, I see Ziggler still hasn't got his own image yet & is still a Psycho Sid rip-off. With Jack Swagger at the colour desk did anyone ever believe this would have a clean finish? A pretty crummy match where Kingston showed no ill effects after his beatdown on Superstars, Ziggler took the win off the Zigzag. If this was supposed to create heat for 2 of the PPV matches it was a huge failure.
WWE Womens Championship Lumberjack Match, Melina vs Michelle McCool - I guess WWE have 2 belts for the ladies then? One for RAW & one for Smackdown? It was only a matter of time before someone from the outside interfered & it all broke down, McCool hit the Faith Breaker (that'd be TNA Star AJ Styles' Styles Clash then) to take the win & retain her title.
The Scottish guy claiming to be "The newest member of Smackdown" clearly wasn't in the room when Vicky said her boyfriend had JUST been signed by Vince about 30 minutes before he made that stupid statement.
8 Man Tag Match, DX, John Cena & The Undertaker vs Randy Orton, Legacy & CM Punk - I guess this was another attempt to create heat for 3 more of the upcoming PPV matches then? Considering they billed this as "The biggest 8 Man Tag Match of the decade" it was too long, had no spots to speak of and really wasn't worth watching. The Undertaker took the win off a Tombstone Piledriver on Randy Orton.
If we look at everyone who worked tonights show it indicates exactly how stale WWE have become.
Batista - still running the same gimmick since day 1 in the WWE 7 years ago
Kane - pretty much still the same gimmick since 1997, well over a decade now
John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Melina, Michelle McCool - All fairly new talent
DX - doing exactly what they were a decade ago, being DX
John Cena - still running the same shitty gimmick he started with 7 years ago
The Undertaker - still in the same gimmick he started with
Randy Orton - ditto
Legacy - have only been with the company a short while, getting a monster push on name value only
CM Punk - Has been face & heel some many times it's pointless keeping up any more.
You think they would have made an iota of progress in 10 years? Not a f**king chance.

My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Impact 1st Oct 09 reviewed

Show opens with Abyss calling out Mick Foley, quite frankly this angle has been too long in finally coming and no-one cares any more.
X Division #1 Contender Ladder Match, Amazing Red vs Sheik Abdul Bashir vs Kiyoshi vs Consequences Creed vs Jay Lethal - The winner of this gets themselves a shot at the X Division title next week, Red had a great start but was at a huge disadvantage being against 2 tagteams. Creed took a wicked looking inverted Piledriver off Bashir however Reds Headscissors DDT was outstanding as was his standing snap Hurricanrana on Creed that caused him to barf, Amazing Red climbed the ladder to get the contract & take the win here.
Dr Stevie (with Daffney) vs Kevin Nash - Stevie bailed in the opening second suckering Nash out to the floor where Daffney distracted him allowing Stevie to unload on Nashs legs, back in the ring Stevie was whaling on Nash who spent most of the match on his back until Stevie tried a Sleeperhold but Nash broke it giving Stevie a facefull of boot but everything was over after Kevin Nash hit the Jack Knife Powerbomb for the win.
Battle Of The Playboy Models, Traci vs Christy Hemme - Actually TNA were being very brave by sticking 2 fingers up to kayfabe by acknowledging not only Hemme having posed for Playboy but with their main rivals WWE. Traci was on top from the get go with Hemme jobbing like crazy for the opening few minutes but getting a nice comeback until she missed the FFG, Christy Hemme took the win off an excellent Roll-up from the corner. Traci making a postmatch beatdown didn't really do much to further her as a heel.
TNA Knockout Championship, Awesome Kong (with Raisha Saeed) vs ODB - Tara had joined the colour desk so there was always going to be some interference here, this match was actually so boring they cut away to Saeed getting in Taras face who left her chair for a confrontation only to be suckered into the grasp of Kong. Kong took a Neckbreaker into the top rope off Tara allowing ODB to hit a Schoolboy Roll-up to make the win. I said it would happen, didn't I? The post match scrap between Tara & ODB was better than the actual match until Kong decided to jump them both nailing both Tara & ODB with an Implant Buster each.
Kurt Angle vs Hernandez - Well this match was a staggering array of f**k all that ended in a double countout, but allowed World Elite to jump Angle & Hernandez then beat them up backstage. Angle was saved from his beating by the intervention of MEM.
The Beautiful People come out & address Angelina Love being gone (very brave & anti-kayfabe) then invite Sarita & Taylor Wilde out so they can apologise to their for being horrible (claiming Love made them do it, ah - The Nuremburg Defence!). They both shake hands but Sky & Rayne jump them once their backs are turned which Wilde & Sarita turn around in seconds. Sarita is then jumped by a mystery blonde in a gold jacket who then levels Wilde & Tenay ID's her as Lacey Von Erich who hits the Von Erich Claw on Sarita.
Eric Young vs Matt Morgan - If there was ever a match with no heat that no-one really wants to see it was going to be this, the match itself was going nowhere when Morgan did his usual move of dropping a leg across Youngs neck on the top rope then Morgan went to the floor to celebrate with the fans only to be nailed in the head with a chair by a fan dressed as Abyss (who had been in the front row for the whole show, I was going to mention him earlier) and the chair had "Abyss, use my chair" written on it. The fan scaled the guard rail & pulled off the Abyss mask to reveal it was actually Kurt Angle as the ref called for the bell so I assume the win went to Morgan on a DQ off outside interference which allowed the rest of The MEM to beat Eric Young but World Elite ran out to even things up with complete chaos. I did wonder how they were going to kill the last 13 minutes of the show but it turned out there was going to be another match.
6 Man Tag Match, Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams (with Big Rob) & Rhino vs Team 3D & Bobby Lashley - Beer Money join the announce team for this match, by the time it got going there was only 7 minutes of show left so it was never really going to shape up to be any kind of decent match but I had my fingers crossed it wasn't going to turn into the 3rd shitty brawl of the night. Nothing worth calling in this match, Lashley took the win off a submission hold after Brutus Magnus tapped out.
I'm not sure why they bothered with Samoa Joe jumping Lashley in the closing seconds of the show, it gets neither guy over.
Lacey Von Erich had a good debut and I look forward to seeing her 1st proper match and what kind of ring outfit they put her into.

Ghost Hunters S05E15 - A Bat Out of Hell

Thoughts on this weeks episode, I actually took notes as I was watching so I could log what I saw as opposed to what they were claiming.

Investigating the winner of The Great Ghost Hunt (it only took them nearly a whole year).

1st room, 2 cameras (meatloafs & camera guy) & 1 digital recorder batteries drained & K2 meter going crazy on the bed. FLIR was fine though?
K2 meter "conversations" is done by pointing the FLIR at it, caught Jason doing it. Debunked

Meatloaf asks the "ghost" to make a noise, we hear a bang yet neither Jay or Grant were on camera. very suspect.
2nd noise Grant wasn't on camera, even more suspect. Grant then tries to show it was a door that he wasn't close to.
However he WAS walking away from another room and all those doors looked identical, I'd wager they all made the same noise if banged against a wall.

The girls doing EVP & hear walking. Cameraman? (Immediately followed by a bang some distance away).
22.43 just before they see the shadow, moth or orb? (to the left of them)

Steve & Tango hear footsteps (I heard shuffling, not walking), 2nd thing they hear their cameraman was moving same time we heard the sound - I'm debunking the shuffling as him moving.

Boathouse upstairs, K2 hits which Jason says is "moving" (every time it went on he was shining his flashlight right at the meter).

Meatloaf is "cold" (sitting between 2 open doors, of course you are).
Grant goes to investigate movement in the bathroom (at least 3 continuity cuts in filming there) & Meatloafs bottle has "moved" (due to the cuts & not seeing everyone all on camera at once you can't trust that as real).

Steve & Tango in the boathouse hearing knocking noises (just as Meatloaf was leaving/off camera, debunked)

So it seems by watching more carefully and taking notes I've actually been able to debunk stuff like the K2 conversations (done with either the FLIR or a flashlight), I've caught them doing stuff off camera and cutting filming to do stuff then moving to appear like its paranormal.

That was just by applying a bit of logic & common sense, I'm not a conspirasist or anything like that, I just don't like being lied to.

WWE Superstars 1st Oct 09 reviewed

Its my 1st time seeing Superstars since 11th Jun this year so again I won't apologise for not knowing storylines or who people are.
Shad Gaspard vs Tyson Kidd - I assume there is supposed to be some kind of heat between these tag teams as this is the 2nd time this week their members have fought, I also assume Kidd is filling the spot Teddy Hart was too unreliable to get? This match was so boring, Gaspard won off a Leg Sweep.
Sheamus vs Tyler Reks - As soon as Reks was announced you knew he was set to job, very dull match where Sheamus took the win off a big boot.
The Miz vs Kofi Kingston - I'm not exactly sure what the point of this match is when they will be meeting in a title match at the shortly upcoming PPV, pretty much no spots to speak of and Kingston won off Trouble In Paradise.
This show certainly hasn't improved thats for sure. Considering the above 5 lines of text are a review of a 45 minute wrestling show it screams volumes how unimpressive it was, doesn't it.
