WWE Royal Rumble 2011 reviewed

Well I heard Kevin Nash & Booker T were coming back to WWE and I fancied a good laugh so I decided to see what kind of show the 'dub are capable of these days. Couple of useless facts first, its the 24th Rumble and there are 40 guys taking part instead of the usual 30. Caveat:- I haven't watched ANY WWE programming in forever so I have no idea who works where, whose friends and who isnt and I do like a swear here and there so expect langauge you might not like.

World Heavyweight Championship match, Edge vs Dolph Ziggler - Ah, the shitty old WCW title belt WWE seems to have a MASSIVE hard-on for. Dolph, 'roid much dude? I guess WWE must have been reading my old reviews as Ziggler has finally stopped wearing Psycho Sid's old jacket to the ring.

Anyway Edge can't use the Spear or he loses his title because Vicky says so. So what was with the colour desk not calling the Sharpshooter/Figure 4 Leglock? Did they not know what it was called, because none of them mentioned it? Edge won this match off a DQ on outside interference (As soon as Vicky pulled the ref the bell should have been rung there and then, Edge had already won) and pretty much ANYTHING that happened after that can be ignored but for some reason this ref didnt know his job and allowed this farce to continue.

After a crappy ref bump & Vicky out after being attacked by Kelly Kelly who ran out to stop her hitting Edge, Edge took the eventual win off Christians finisher The Unprettier or whatever WWE are calling it. Piss poor match, even worse finish for a belt WWE really need to stop competing over.

WWE Championship match, Randy Orton vs The Miz (with Alex Riley, whoever the fuck he is) - Frankly, I am surprised The Miz is holding any kind of title let alone WWE's main belt as he is the biggest waste of oxygen on the whole roster. He is basically a slightly more annoying version of Crash Holly with less talent & even less charisma. As expected Riley interfered every chance he got but after an amble down by The New Nexus, inteference from Alex Riley which earnt him flying lessons and the GTS from CM Punk on Orton Miz retained his title in yet another piss poor finish to another piss poor match.

Divas Championship 2 on 1 Handcap match, Layla & Michelle McCool vs Natalya - Never happened. Some email bullshit from someone not there and this became another match.

Divas Championship Fatal 4 Way, Layla vs Michelle McCool vs Natalya vs Eve - I have to question Layla's skill set as she wasn't even able to sell a simple clothesline from Natalya. Very weird finish with Eve taking the win to become new the Diva's Champion despite the fact Michelle McCool had Natalya pinned behind the refs back at the exact same time. Chalk that up to be the next match for Eve.

Backstage segment - Gail Kim, how have the mighty fallen? From TNA Knockout Champion to eye candy & valet brawling in a shitty backstage segment. Was that MASSIVE payment Vince gave you REALLY worth it?

Royal Rumble - Rule recap:- 2 men start, a new person enters every 90 seconds & you can only be eliminated by going over the top rope and both your feet touching the floor with the winner going on to a championship match at Wrestlemania. By clearly stating these were the only rules allowed a LOT of fucking bullshit to take place rendering the match a total waste of time.

In at #1 was CM Punk we had a TON of bullshit, more email bullshit then #2 was finally revealed to be Daniel Bryan. Not much action before #3 Justin Gabriel entered only to be eliminated by Bryan minutes later. # 4 was Zack Ryder STILL running Grand Master Sexay's gimmick? Anyway he was also gone moments later thanks to a hiptoss from Bryan. #5 was William Regal and boy is he FAT! #6 was Ted DiBiase Jr with John Morrison coming in at #7.

Morrison was flubbing from the word go, not only screwing up his ring entrance but pretty much every encounter he had in his opening 90 seconds, Regal went out thanks to DiBiase & Morrison was stuck holding on to the crowd barrier where he had to jump onto the ring steps to get back in. #8 was Yoshi Tatsu & #9 was Husky Harris (son of Mike Rotunda aka IRS) & #10 was Chavo Guerrero. Coming at #11 was Mark Henry (and I note colour are STILL pulling that "Worlds Strongest Man" bullshit? Dude, he won ONE Arnold Classic in 2002 & it wasn't even WSM affiliated so get the fuck over it?) who dumped out Chavo in seconds & Yoshi Tatsu shortly after that.

In at #12 was JTG (wasn't he the shit half of Cryme Tyme?) followed by #13 Michael McGillicutty (son of Curt Hennig aka Mr Perfect) who eliminated JTG pretty quickly & assisted Husky Harris to oust DiBiase shortly after that. Next in at #14 was Chris Masters, #15 was David Otunga, Bryan was eliminated by Punk seconds after his entrance closely followed by Masters also tossed by Punk. Morrison went next thanks to all of The New Nexus as did Henry mere moments later.

In at #16 was Tyler Reks who was thrown out by Punk seconds after his arrival, #17 was Vladimir Kozlov also slung out by Punk shortly after his entry. Unfortunate #18 was R-Truth (he got better already after that thing on the plane?) likewise tossed out by Punk, #19 was The Great Khali and from that second it was pretty sure business was about to pick up & Punks party was about to get pissed on. Harris went out next thanks to Khali and in at #20 was Mason Ryan who tossed Khali putting The New Nexus back on track.

Coming in at #21 was TNA reject Booker T who got a little bit of offence in doing the Axe Kick, a Bookend and a Spinaroonie before being slung out by Ryan. In at #22 was John Cena who put out Ryan easily closely followed by McGillicutty & Otanga together from a duel clothesline. #23 was Hornswoggle and Cena finally eliminated Punk, #24 was Tyson Kidd who took the dive curtesy of Cena.

#25 was Heath Slater, I'm not sure why the camera truck decided not to show the Tadpole Splash 1st time but Slater took his flying lesson next thanks to Cena. #26 was Kofi Kingston. #27 was Jack Swagger still looking like Owen Harts love child, #28 was Sheamus the ginger ball gobbler & licker of HHH's arse who eliminated Hornswoggle who seriously looked like he didnt want to take that bump. In at #29 was Rey Mysterio Junior who eventually eliminated Swagger, #30 was Wade Barrett in what would normally be last man position in a normal Rumble but this year we have another ten guys left to enter.

#31 was Dolph Ziggler (in his 2nd match of the night too!) and from here on in its all uncharted territory (I'd like to say for the record I typed that before the colour guy said it). #32 was TNA reject Kevin Nash running his old Diesel gimmick so that explains why he had dyed his hair & beard brown, #33 was Drew McIntyre - yet another of HHH's bootlickers. #34 was Alex Riley as Barrett eliminated Diesel & Nash got to take a nice little pile of money home for doing pretty much fuck all.

#35 was The Big Show who tossed Ziggler, Cena & Kingston eliminated Riley in the background as this was happening but they were that busy talking to The Miz no-one called it - likewise no-one called the elimination of McIntyre by Big Show (which is INSANE considering it happened right in front of the fucking colour desk!) as the entry of #36 Ezekiel Jackson was completely ignored but he eliminated Big Show by himself. What was hysterical was The Miz was bigging up Alex Riley and no-one had even noticed he'd already been eliminated, way to pay attention colour desk!

#37 was Santino Marella (possibly one of the worst workers in WWE ever in my opinion with a god awful gimmick) who was sent out under the bottom rope, #38 was Alberto Del Rio who we spent about 57 years watching on his over rated stupidly expensive entrance. At this point I'd like to point out to the guys in the WWE camera truck that the action is in the ring, NOT THE FUCKING ENTRY RAMP!

#39 was Randy Orton (meaning technically Del Rio should be eliminated as you have to actually enter the ring in the 90 seconds otherwise you get DQ'd, it also means Santino should also be DQ'd for being out of the ring for too long) and he eliminated Kingston (Santino was still lying by the ring at this point having been out of the ring almost 3 minutes so he should have been well and truly DQ'd by this point), closely followed by Sheamus.

Lucky #40 was Kane who sent out Jackson, Kane was eliminated next by Mysterio, Barrett eliminated Mysterio seconds later. Cena was ejected illegally, Alex Riley lured him to the apron and The Miz threw him out. As Riley had already been eliminated and Miz wasn't even in the match there is no possible way in hell even with kayfabe that this elimination could count, all those referee's and not one of them saw it? For some reason the refs let the elimination stand.

Orton put out Barrett and Del Rio took advantage putting out Orton as his back was turned & Del Rio was declared winner until it was pointed out Santino had never been eliminated despite having been outside the ring for almost 12 minutes (having checked Santino was outside the ring exactly 11 minutes & 59 seconds) but Del Rio tossed Santino and was finally declared the winner.

After the farce that was this years Royal Rumble it is WAY past time all the loopholes in the rules were removed. In the late 80's a rule was introduced that if you had not entered by the time the next participant after you entered it was an automatic DQ. I think it was an event where The Macho Man did not take his place and got DQ'd for it.

Clearly this rule is now gone as Del Rio would have been out under it. No participant should be allowed to remain outside the ring (if they left under the ropes) for longer than a 10 count which should also result in a DQ. No participant should be able to be eliminated by either someone already eliminated or a non participant, this would still have left Cena in the Rumble.

An event like this does nothing for the prestige that used to be The Royal Rumble.Also FAR too much time was spent by the colour desk sucking The Miz's cock to the point that several eliminations were missed due to it.
Apparently WWE need to hire new directors as the ones employed for this particular PPV were epically failing to use the right camera's to catch eliminations instead chosing to watch either the entrance ramp or the colour desk.

This shambles of a PPV wont be any kind of incentive to watch another WWE PPV any time in the near future.

WWE Extreme Rules 18th Apr 10 reviewed

Caveat:- I do NOT watch WWE programming, I am unaware of any current storyline or who are faces or heels. This review does contain swearing, if that might offend you then stop reading now or you've no-one to blame except yourself.

Street Fight (No Count outs or DQ, win by pin or submission only), HHH vs Sheamus - Trips had his intro then failed to show & we cut to him & Sheamus already going at it backstage, Trips took a couple of steel pipe shots before Teddy Long finally got him away. No finish as the match never started so no result either.

Miz & The Big Show come out & shoot their mouths until Teddy Long cuts them off by booking them against a team of his choosing for a future shot at the Unified Tag titles. For continuing to run his (The Miz) mouth Long books them against 3 teams there and then.

Miz & The Big Show vs R-Truth & John Morrison - Big Show & The Miz are calling themselves ShowMiz, P**s poor bout with an even worse call, Morrison had Big Show in a Headscissors & Show was waving like he was tapping out yet for some bulls**t kayfabe reason the ref awarded the match to ShowMiz on a DQ for no reason that was explained.

Miz & The Big Show vs MVP & Mark Henry - Another piss poor match, MVP had it won off the Playmaker when Big Show hit him allowing The Miz to take the pin for an easy win.

Miz & The Big Show vs The Hart Dynasty (with Natalya & Brett Hart) - Over in seconds after Smith got a pin following the Hart Attack (better known as The Doomsday Device) meaning The Hart Dynasty earn themselves a shot at the Unified Tag Titles.

CM Punk (with Serena & Luke Gallows) vs Rey Mysterio - If Punk loses he gets his head shaved. Another p**s poor match that was mostly Mysterio, Serena & Gallows were sent back to the locker room after interfering but someone under the ring distracted the ref by throwing a chair into the ring long enough to hit a Reverse Powerbomb on Mysterio allowing Punk to take the easy win off the Go To Sleep.

Strap Match (actually a 4 Corners match), Shad Gaspard vs JTG - Won by JTG, completely shit.

World Heavyweight Championship Match, Jack Swagger vs Randy Orton - No Count outs or DQ, win by pin or submission only. Frankly its f**king hysterical how much of a big deal WWE make about holding this title considering it was once the most reviled belt in WWF history as the former WCW world heavyweight title. The only nods to extreme in the match were the use of a garbage can, Swagger taking a bump on the ring steps & Orton taking a bump onto a chair which bent it. Swagger took the win off a Gut Wrench Power Bomb to retain his title.

Street Fight (No Count outs or DQ, win by pin or submission only), HHH vs Sheamus - This time Sheamus came out 1st insisting the ref raise his hand if Trips was unable to show but obviously he came out anyway. Trips took this to the floor early hoping to beat Sheamus down, this was pretty s*t to be honest even though Trips worked "injured" and sold that pretty well, I'm not sure if him fucking up the DDT was kayfabe or deliberate it was hard to tell. Sheamus wasn't fully willing to sell the Drop Toe Hold into the ring steps (blame the badly positioned cameraman for that s**tty no-sell there) but he did sell the Kendo Stick shot, Sheamus took the eventual win.

Extreme Makeover Match for the Womens Championship, Michelle McCool (with Vicky Guererro & Layla) vs Beth Phoenix - McCool used hairspray & an ironing board, I assume the flub with the Iron was on purpose & I'd love the thank the replay team for totally no-selling the colour desk telling us McCools head hit the table when it clearly doesnt in the replay. Phoenix took a nice top rope bump onto 2 ironing boards & took the win off the Glam Slam to win the title.

Steel Cage Match, Edge vs Chris Jericho - Note the stipulations "Victory can be achieved by pinfall, submission or escaping the cage". Jericho clearly WINS the match by escaping the cage @9.26 & to the colour guy stating "he's gotta get down to the floor" I'm afraid thats sheer kayfabe bulls**t on your part mate, no such rule was stated at the start. Edge is declared the winner off The Spear 11 minutes later. F**K OFF.

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship, Batista vs John Cena - Stipulations were announced as follows but after the last match its not like anyone is going to believe them for a f**king second:- No Countout, No DQ, No pinfalls or submissions, your opponant MUST stay down for a full 10 count for you to win. Erm, did one of the colour guys use Batistas real name? No Kayfabe? "Not only does it injure Dave" WHOOPS! You meant Batista you f**king rookie retard. Seems the ref didnt know how to do his job either by leaving the ring to count Batista, dont the rules say you have a 10 count to make it back INTO the ring or did this c**t get his refs shirt as a prize in a box of f**king cereal? Cena gets a truly awful win after taping Batistas feet together around a ring post with Duct Tape to retain his title.

If this excuse of a PPV is what passes for Extreme these days then WWE are not long for this world. Quite frankly I've had more extreme s**ts than this. Way to s**t on all your loyal fans WWE.

WWE Monday Night Raw 8th Mar 10 reviewed

So whilst Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair were battling live on TNA what was billionaire Vince McMahon offering his hordes of fans?

Well the show was more than 16 minutes old before we were offered the 1st match, a 6 Diva tag match which lasted 3 minutes.
Over on TNA they already had a 2 minute long match with no finish (or no start or finish bell either). The divas match was no better (or worse but was slightly longer) than the Triple Threat Knockout Tag match TNA had but at least TNA had gold on the line.

We had a ton of blah including guest host Criss Angel then by 26 mins into the show WWE offered their 2nd match, a tag match between R-Truth & John Morrison vs Big Show & The Miz. TNA were already 4 minutes into their 2nd match by then (a 3 way X Division match which last 7 minutes & was easily a 4 star match with gold on the line yet again) however this match lasted then a minute.

After a shitload more BLAH, some shameless self advertising & plugs for this years Wrestlemania at almost 37 minutes in we got the 3rd match, Randy Orton in a handicap match against Legacy. TNA's 3rd match had already started and finished (lasting just over 3 mins crowning new Knockout Tag Champions) before this even got going. At almost 9 mins long WWEs match was nothing to write home about. After another crapload of nothing WWE eventually decided to have another match. TNAs 4th match only lasted 10 seconds but they also started their 5th match which was only just over a minute long.

65 mins in the show WWEs 4th match was a Money In The Bank Qualifier, Evan Bourne vs William Regal which was only over a minute long. Bourne had an ok match though. TNA started their 6th match at 73 mins into their show, it was a 2 on 1 handicap match that lasted just short of 4 minutes and it was god awful.

Kicking off at the 80 minute mark WWE's 5th & final match of this weeks RAW was John Cena vs Mr McMahon who decided to change the rules at the last minute making it into a handicap gauntlet match so Cena had to face Vladimir Koslov, Drew Mcintyre, Jack Swagger & Mark Henry before changing the rules again adding a no DQ stipulation. After Batista also came down & did a number on Cena McMahon took the win in 8 minutes. WWE's last match was 2 minutes old when TNA's 7th & final match of their show started, although it had technically never started at the top of Impact but it only lasted 8 minutes as well.

RAW - 5 matches, 22 minutes of actual in ring wrestling. No new talent worked.
TNA - 7 matches, 21 minutes of actual in ring wrestling. 2 titles were contested, RVD debuted.

Having watched both shows neither impressed me, if these are supposed to be the 2 biggest wrestling companies on tv today they are both piss poor excuses for shows. Both shows were on for at least 2 hours and both only just had over 20 minutes worth of actual wrestling.

Its a very sad state of affairs indeed.

WWE Monday Night Raw 4th Jan 10 reviewed

With your special guest host Bret "The Hitman" Hart returning to RAW after 12 years & he calls out HBK to discuss the Screwjob & they bury the hatchet with a handshake then a hug. Bret also calls out Vince but he doesn't come out. Backstage he tells someone he'll call Bret out later. The colour guys announce Divas Champ Melina is injured & has been forced to vacate her title so they'll have an 8 woman event to decide the title. Erm hang on just 1 minute, didn't TNA just do this very same thing mere days ago? Talk about stealing ideas from the competition but thats taking the piss!

1st round Divas Tournament, Maryse vs Brie Bella - Not a very good match at all where Maryse was double teamed left, right & centre, the Bellas did switch near the end but Maryse took the win off the French Kiss (a rather nice looking Inverted DDT).

Fatal 4 Way Match, MVP vs Jack Swagger vs Carlito vs Mark Henry - Neither Carlito or Henry were introduced as the show took a break once Swagger came out & the match was already under way when they came back from commercials. The winner here will become #1 contender for the US Championship, why the fuck should we care who is #1 contender for that joke of a title? Its only the old WCW US TV title anyway. Its never had ANY prestige EVER! Piss poor excuse for a match where MVP won off the Piemaker when Swagger finally decided he'd sell it.

Unified Tag Title Match, Degeneration X vs The Big Show & Chris Jericho - Was Jericho taking the mickey out of Hulk Hogan during this match doing the hand to the ears thing? Extremely poor match, HHH took the win off Jericho after HBK hit Sweet Chin Music meaning Jericho is on his way back to Smackdown.

Non-title match, Sheamus vs Evan Bourne - Not a great match, Sheamus took the win off what Scott Hall used to call the Razors Edge, I assume they haven't given his finisher a name yet? How about The Celtic Cross? (And if you use that WWE I expect to be paid for it!).

The colour guys pay their respects after the recent passing of Dr Death Steve Williams from throat cancer.

Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton - Kofi had a great match, Orton was so so but Orton took the win off the RKO.

Vince McMahon comes out & refuses to call out Bret Hart, Mike Tyson as next weeks guest host gets no pop at all. Bret comes out anyway & Vince even mentions the punch in the locker room after the Screw Job. Vince says he wants to nominate Stu Hart for the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. The swerve during the celebration (where Vince kicked Bret in the gut) was totally predictable BTW. WWE completely telegraphed that one.

WWE Monday Night Raw 21st Dec 09 reviewed

Its my 1st WWE show since 2nd Oct & my 1st RAW since 28th Sept so I won't apologise for not knowing who people are or what current storylines are either - someone described the show as outstandingly bad so I figured it was worth seeing the show that Vince thinks will keep people from tuning into Hulk Hogan on TNA in a few weeks time. With guest host Johnny Damon who being a baseball star no-one outside of America is going to have a f**king clue who he is. the show devolved into farce with less than 5 minutes having passed with some blonde attacking a guy in a tiger suit with a golf club. So domestic abuse is considered an acceptable thing to lampoon is it?

6 Diva Santas Little Helper Tag Match, Melina, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim vs Maryse, Alicia Fox & Jillian - Poor Gail Kim, she gave up wrestling in actual matches in a company where she'd been champion & had everything going for her & now shes here wrestling dressed up in some weak ass lingerie gimmick match. I hope that alledgedly MASSIVE pay cheque is filling the empty hole in your career Gail?

As Kim was with the Champ & also on the team that didn't look like $5 hookers after a bad day I assume she's a face at the moment? Kim & Jillian worked an ok program but clearly Jillians never seen any WWE tapes else she'd have avoided the Springboard Flip that cost Chyna her WWE career. I also assume WWE have been trying to get Trish Stratus back unsuccessfully as Maryse looked pretty much exactly like her but not as pretty & nowhere near as talented a worker. I was quite impressed with Kelly who made a lovely Hurricanrana but this match broke down & Kelly took the win by pinning Maryse off an assist from Melina. This could have done with being much longer & we didn't see Melina or Alicia Fox work at all.

If you thought the Tiger Woods skit earlier was stupid then things hit a new level on the lowness scale with this c***py video package about DX being taken to Little Peoples Court. Listen WWE, Peoples Court airs in the US & no-one outside of America was EVER going to get this c***py joke. You have to wonder how much money Vince wasted doing this.

6 Man Tag Match, Randy Orton & Legacy vs Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne & Mark Henry - I see WWE announcers are still billing Henry as "Worlds Strongest Man" despite the fact the fat f**k has never even taken part in the contest? Listen WWE, he won an Arnold classic event f**king ONCE in 2002! Not a very impressive match at all, Orton mainly stayed out of it but is it me or does Cody Rhodes REALLY look like Johnny Knoxville from Jackass? After things broke down as expected Kingston took the win off Trouble In Paradise off Ted DiBiase Jr.

More backstage c**p & futher c**p from the DX skit that they should have given up on before they bothered airing it.

John Cena vs Jack Swagger - So Cenas still sticking with the thugganomics thing & Swagger still looks like Owen Harts evil twin on Ritalin, I'll assume from his outfit & his catch as catch can preferred style Swagger was an amateur wrestler before he joined the Dub? Oh & someone might want to tell Swagger Scott Steiner called & he wants his gimmick back. Cena took the eventual win after Swagger tapped out of the STF.

Carlito vs Chris Masters (with Eve Torres) - Its bizarre how much of a push Masters is getting for someone who fell foul of the Wellness program & who still looks like he's seriously hitting those 'Roids too. Masters actually reminded me of Paul Roma but his trouble is he's very much a 1 trick pony only ever using the Master Lock, its weird seeing Carlito as a heel at the moment as he was well into a face role the last time I tuned in when he was working having not long broken up tagging with Primo. Masters took the win off the Master Lock after he put Carlito to sleep so its a modified Sleeper Hold then?

Sheamus vs MVP - Because he's willing to suck HHH's c**k Sheamus now has the WWE Heavyweight title but it doesn't stop him being an Adam "Mythbusters" Savage lookalike. P**s poor match where Sheamus took the win off a Jack Knife Powerbomb, someone might want to tell both Scott Hall & Kevin Nash this ginger Johnny Come Lately is stealing their finisher. John Cena comes out to ask for his rematch but Sheamus bails.

The Miz vs Santino Claus - I'm not sure why Miz was making such a fuss over his belt which is only the old WCW US TV title anyway but here he was facing Santino Marella in a Santa suit, considering that a big part of WWE's audience demographic is kids you had to wonder why they were allowing a guy dressed as Santa to get the s**t kicked out of him. Its a really good way to alienate a large percentage of your viewers, Miz took the win off The Skull Crushing Finale which he stole off Jeff Jarrett, its actually called The Stroke.

Video package for Ted DiBiase Jr in The Marine 2. Its bizarre how WWE have made a sequal to a movie that John Cena starred in yet Cena doesn't appear in it, even more bizarre they pick Ted Jr who hasn't even been on their f**king roster that long. I guess his daddy sucked some major c**k to swing that role for sonny boy then?

The Big Show calls out Santa (with the Bella Twins looking extremely slutty in their Elf outfits) who is revealed by Hornswaggle to be Chris Jericho, the whole skit with the jobber midgets just demonstrated theres no level so low that WWE won't sink to.

If Vince thinks this big old pile of s**t is going to keep him afloat on January 4th 2010 he may as well file for
bankrupcy now. He already proved he has no issues p***ing away company money on c**p like that "Little Peoples Court" hiring all those midgets for the video package & hiring midget wrestlers to job for Jericho & Big Show. Little wonder Linda left to go into politics & Shane has given notice too.

I guess it'll be down to Daddys Little Princess to run the empire into the ground frittering all her money away on shoes & 'Roids for Trips? WWE may not be dead yet but if this is their best defence they are not long
for this world. F**k, Eric Bischoff won't even have to try hard to steal their audience this time.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown 2nd Oct 09 reviewed

Considering this was a celebration of a decade of WWE Smackdown we had current TNA star Kurt Angle appear (at 1:05 & 1:47).

Batista vs Kane - Very dull match, Batista won off the Batista Bomb (did he hurt his leg doing it as he looked in agony).

Eddie Guerrero remembered on video, we see how thin Vicky used to be and I barely recognised Dean Malenko. The 10 bell salute got me going though, some of those clips were old WCW & ECW clips too!

Tag Match, John Morrison & Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler & The Miz - I thought Morrison went solo to get AWAY from tag matches yet here he is back in the s**t again, I see Ziggler still hasn't got his own image yet & is still a Psycho Sid rip-off. With Jack Swagger at the colour desk did anyone ever believe this would have a clean finish? A pretty crummy match where Kingston showed no ill effects after his beatdown on Superstars, Ziggler took the win off the Zigzag. If this was supposed to create heat for 2 of the PPV matches it was a huge failure.

WWE Womens Championship Lumberjack Match, Melina vs Michelle McCool - I guess WWE have 2 belts for the ladies then? One for RAW & one for Smackdown? It was only a matter of time before someone from the outside interfered & it all broke down, McCool hit the Faith Breaker (that'd be TNA Star AJ Styles' Styles Clash then) to take the win & retain her title.

The Scottish guy claiming to be "The newest member of Smackdown" clearly wasn't in the room when Vicky said her boyfriend had JUST been signed by Vince about 30 minutes before he made that stupid statement.

8 Man Tag Match, DX, John Cena & The Undertaker vs Randy Orton, Legacy & CM Punk - I guess this was another attempt to create heat for 3 more of the upcoming PPV matches then? Considering they billed this as "The biggest 8 Man Tag Match of the decade" it was too long, had no spots to speak of and really wasn't worth watching. The Undertaker took the win off a Tombstone Piledriver on Randy Orton.

If we look at everyone who worked tonights show it indicates exactly how stale WWE have become.

Batista - still running the same gimmick since day 1 in the WWE 7 years ago
Kane - pretty much still the same gimmick since 1997, well over a decade now
John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Melina, Michelle McCool - All fairly new talent
DX - doing exactly what they were a decade ago, being DX
John Cena - still running the same shitty gimmick he started with 7 years ago
The Undertaker - still in the same gimmick he started with
Randy Orton - ditto
Legacy - have only been with the company a short while, getting a monster push on name value only
CM Punk - Has been face & heel some many times it's pointless keeping up any more.

You think they would have made an iota of progress in 10 years? Not a f**king chance.

WWE Superstars 1st Oct 09 reviewed

Its my 1st time seeing Superstars since 11th Jun this year so again I won't apologise for not knowing storylines or who people are.

Shad Gaspard vs Tyson Kidd - I assume there is supposed to be some kind of heat between these tag teams as this is the 2nd time this week their members have fought, I also assume Kidd is filling the spot Teddy Hart was too unreliable to get? This match was so boring, Gaspard won off a Leg Sweep.

Sheamus vs Tyler Reks - As soon as Reks was announced you knew he was set to job, very dull match where Sheamus took the win off a big boot.

The Miz vs Kofi Kingston - I'm not exactly sure what the point of this match is when they will be meeting in a title match at the shortly upcoming PPV, pretty much no spots to speak of and Kingston won off Trouble In Paradise.

This show certainly hasn't improved thats for sure. Considering the above 5 lines of text are a review of a 45 minute wrestling show it screams volumes how unimpressive it was, doesn't it.

ECW 29th Sep 09 reviewed

My 1st ECW since 14th Apr this year, lets see if the show has made any progress forwards or gotten worse. As I haven't watched the show in 5 months I make no apologies for not knowing who people are or what current storylines are. Show opens with William Regal altering a match then Tony Atlas introduces some nobody called Abraham Washington (who he?) in some chat show bulls**t.

As if wrestling didn't already have too much talking they are adding a chat show segment too?

Paul Burchill vs Shelton Benjamin - Or rather not as Benjamin was jumped by some ginger dude (Sheamus O'Shaunessy, never heard of him - he must be new?) as he came to the ring, Benjamin was stupid enough to start the match already injured & we had some c**p spots then a commercial break with Burchill still on top when we rejoined the match. Oh and someone might want to tell Katy Leah Daffney called and wants her gimmick back. Burchill was on top for the whole of the match until Benjamin hit Paydirt out of nowhere to take the unexpected win. S**t match, quite frankly this didn't help progress any kind of storyline or help get either guy over. P**s poor, 2/10.

8 Man Tag Match, William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson & Zack Ryder vs Goldust, Tommy Dreamer, Yoshi Tatsu & Christian - I see Ryder is STILL trying to be Grand Master Sexay? Jackson still looks like f**king Bad News Brown, only Tatsu was new to me here. Pretty c**p apart from the last minute, Tatsu took the win after kicking Regal in the head then hooked the leg to make the pin.

For a wrestling show this was P**S POOR, it was nearly 15 minutes into a 45 minute long show before we even had a match and they only had 2 matches? Quite frankly if WWE is calling this "Entertainment" then they need a new f**king thesaurus.

WWE Monday Night Raw 28th Sep 09 reviewed

This is my 1st Raw since 17th Aug this year so again I won't apologise for not knowing who people are or what storylines are running, neither do I care. Show opens with MVP & Mark Henry in some bulls**t talking segment. Apparently tonights guest host is Al Sharpton, never heard of him.

Unified Tag Title Match, MVP & Mark Henry vs Chris Jericho & The Big Show - F**king awful match where all the action was in the last minute, Jericho took the win off The Codebreaker.

Mickie James vs Rosa Mendes (with Alicia Fox) - As soon as I saw Fox I predicted a c**p ending, the match itself was nothing to write home about. James hit a nice Hurricanrana, Fox tried to distract James who sidestepped whatever Mendes was trying & nailed a nice Spinkick to the head of Mendes to take the easy win.

Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase Jr (AKA Legacy) come out to yap on the mic, why come dressed to wrestle then?

Jack Swagger vs Evan Bourne - Bourne jobbed pretty much the whole match with Swagger taking the win off a modified Powerbomb. Why are they making such a fuss over an old WCW belt that had zero prestige anyway?

Tag Match, Santino Marella & Hornswaggle vs Chavo Guerrero & Chris Masters - Wasn't Masters originally fired for a drug related issue? It still looks like he's on the 'roids though P**s poor match where Masters took the win off The Master Lock.

3 On 1 Gauntlet Match, John Cena vs Chris Jericho - I'm not exactly sure why they were billing this as a gauntlet match as Cena was only ever fighting 1 guy at a time. Cena took the win off a DQ after Jericho refused to break off The Walls Of Jericho.

John Cena vs The Big Show - Another poor match, Show pretty much owned Cena until Cena hit a DDT out of nowhere, Cena had Show up on his shoulders but Jericho ran in & took out Cena's legs so the ref called for the bell with Cena taking the win off a DQ on outside interference.

John Cena vs Randy Orton - Cena just pointed skywards and the cell (all prebuilt & ready set-up for the ppv) started coming down, Cena held onto Orton as it dropped but Orton broke free just missing his chance to escape the cell. Cena did block the door for all of 3 seconds but Orton escaped through the open cell door & instead of running away up the ramp he climbed the cell followed by Cena, Cena hit The Attitude Adjustment on top of the cell but there was no call about who won this so I guess they counted both guys out.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown 25th Sep 09 reviewed

My 1st Smackdown since 17th Apr this year, again I make no apologies for not knowing people or storylines. Show opens with CM Punk getting booed so I guess he's a heel now? No-one cares what he was saying & all the darkness bulls**t was exactly that.

Tagmatch, John Morrison & Finlay vs Mike Knox & Dolph Ziggler - So Psycho Sid lost his gimmick to Ziggler & The Barbarian lost his to Knox? By the time the bell had rung for this (the 1st match of the show) the show was already well over 17 minutes old with no wrestling having happened yet. Well this thing kicked off & they went for a commercial break within a few minutes, coming back Knox was on top over Finlay who was too old to be jobbing like this 10 years ago so he's well past whatever prime he might have had. Morrison had a decent enough match, I enjoyed his Hurricanrana on Knox as well as the standing Shooting Star Press. Knox took out his own partner with a Flying Crossbody Block allowing Finlay to nail him with the Shillelagh allowing Morrison to take the win off Starship Pain.

Slam Master J vs Kane - J is Jesse (of Jesse & Festus fame) so it looks like they are trying to wring every last drop out of s**tty rapper gimmicks. P**s poor super s**t match where Kane took the win off a Chokeslam. Jesse, go back to Festus, at least you were over & not a jobbing wanker with him. Well, not a wanker at least.

Vince McMahon comes out, gives a cheap crowd pop, makes some announcement. No clue who Drew McIntyre is or why he was being introduced either.

The Big Show vs Batista - F**king awful & very long boring match, Batista took the win off DQ by outside interference when Chris Jericho came in to make the save on his tag partner. Atrocious match.

JTG vs David Hart Smith - Smith had a good match, I enjoyed watching him. JTG didn't fare all that badly either, I've never seen much of him to be honest. Natalya distracted the ref allowing Tyson Kidd to kick JTG in the head & Smith took the win off a big powerful Suplex. Not a bad match at all.

CM Punk vs The Undertaker - I see we've gone back to Ministry Of Darkness Taker? I guess if we're going back through all the Taker gimmicks it'll be the American Bad Ass next then? I'm not exactly sure why we are seeing these 2 fighting if their due to meet each other at a PPV fairly soon. Possibly one of the most boring matches I have ever seen with pretty much nothing happening, CM Punk took the win when The Undertaker was counted out,

Call THAT a finish? P**s poor.

WWE Monday Night Raw 17th Aug 09 reviewed

This is the 1st time I have watched RAW since 2nd Feb 09 and am not surprised in the slightest that the show is unchanged in style, format or talent in the 6 months I haven't seen it. The last WWE show I watched was an episode of Superstars on 11th Jun 09 so I haven't seen ANYTHING WWE related in over 2 months so if I don't recognise people or fail to know gimmicks have changed or people have turned face or heel thats why.

With guest host Freddie Prinze Junior.

United States Championship, Kofi Kingston vs Carlito (with Rosa Mendes) - I guess Carlito has gone heel since breaking up as a tagteam with his brother? I can't recall seeing Rosa work a match ever (having checked my blog I'd seen her in 2 matches and clearly neither made an impression) but generally going from wrestler to valet is a big step down and tends to show a lack of trust by WWE. This had a very slow start & the break during the match didn't help things either. Michael Cole must have been watching a different match from me with comments like "non stop action" and "amazing action", all I saw was 2 guys having at best a mildly average match where Kingston took the win off Trouble In Paradise.

The Miz vs Evan Bourne - Essentially this was Bourne selling and putting Miz over in an obvious new push for him. Its very sad that WWE are pushing Miz over someone as talented as Evan Bourne, after coming back into the ring Bourne owned Miz for all of about 2 minutes until The Miz hit what looked like The Stroke (Jeff Jarretts finisher in TNA) but he calls it The Skull Crushing Finale to take a win that he certainly didn't deserve in a push he also doesn't deserve either.

DX return. Who was the singing Blond that HHH put the bin over? I assume that was Santino who got Super Kicked (1st time I have EVER seen him sell a move and sell it well)? And Legacy beat the s**t out of them, its about time someone did.

Divas Championship, Mickie James vs Gail Kim - This is the match I wanted to see as someone said a lot of botches and bad moves were done. Kim started out with a few armbars and James' attempt at a cartwheel to break them wasn't very well executed. The roll throughs looked good but James looked unwilling to take that Cross Body Block. And by the way that was a reverse thrust kick, not a back elbow after the cross body block - James didn't hit the elbow until she was in the corner.

James hit an incredibly sloppy Hurricanrana (p**s poor execution) however Kims didn't look brilliant either but I don't think James helped her there with positioning or delivery, James was also stood too close for Kim to delivery a decent Missile Dropkick (so James gets the blame for bad ring positioning there). James managed to dodge an attempted cross body block from Kim by baseball sliding under Kim, the DDT was severly botched by James (Kim doesn't block it, James totally f**ks up her leg positioning and Kim was lucky to not get hurt by the move) but the colour desk tried to cover the flub by claiming Kim countered the move.

James missed the spinkick but the cameraman and tv director are also to blame for that flub choosing the wrong camera and totally no-selling the move by showing how badly James missed making any kind of contact. James hit a forearm after the missed (but really well sold) spinkick to take the win and retains her title. If Mickie James is the best WWE women have to offer then I do agree that they should cease their womens division.

James did look seriously annoyed after the match as she had her arm raised for the win but she had a really s**tty match here with a lot of rookie mistakes not just by her, I assume the cameraman and director who caused the no-sell of her spinkick will be fired for those equally bad rookie mistakes. I think Kim sold well and if she genuinely did need help standing up after the match it was due to that very bad DDT fall.

MVP vs Jack Swagger - Due to an overly long backstage segment involving John Cena, Chris Jericho & The Big Show there were no introductions for this match, they literally ended the backstage segment and this match started right away. There was no action with the ref calling for the bell within minutes of the start & MVP took the win off a DQ as Swagger failed to break after the ref counted way beyond 5. The postmatch scrap was pretty c**ppy too.

Falls Count Anywhere Match, Chavo Guerrerro vs Hornswoggle - Hornswoggle bolted straight under the ring and we were left watching an empty ring for over 20 seconds until it was revealed both men were on opposite sides of the ring when they both emerged. Hornswoggle fled backstage and we followed Chavo just standing in corridors until he opened a door and was floored by a tin of paint (a la Home Alone) then Hornswoggle got the easy pin in a p**s poor gimmick match where they then showed Macauley Culkin just in case anyone hadn't got the joke. See WWE fans! The company thinks your THAT stupid they had to explain the joke that thoroughly.

Tag Match, The Big Show & Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton & John Cena - Considering at the top of the show he refused stone dead to work tonight Orton didn't seem unhappy to be coming to the ring. Before the match got started Freddie Prinze Junior came out to inform Orton this was now also a Lumberjack Match and that he'd handpicked the Lumberjacks who were Mark Henry, MVP, Jamie Noble (then the d**khead cameraman decided to follow Henry). I managed to work out the other Lumberjacks were Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and I think the other guy next to Noble on his side of the ring might have been Primo Colon (this was confirmed later by the colour desk) but we never really got a got close look at him. Very poor match where Cena took the win off The Attitude Adjustment only to get an RKO from Orton as he celebrated the win.

If this show was an attempt to get people to buy Summerslam then WWE shouldn't be surprised if no-one does as it had no heat and totally failed to pique my interest. Even in its worst days ECW put on better shows than tonights RAW.

WWE Superstars 11th Jun 09 reviewed

Diva Tag Match, Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes vs Nikki & Brie (The Bella Twins) - No real action to speak of with Phoenix taking the rather predictable win & even she must be tiring of the constant squash matches by now?

Video package of how Orton cheated his way to Batistas title. Did no-one point out to the ref the 2 extra guys in the ring that Orton should have instantly been DQ'd on outside interference for?

Evan Bourne vs Zack Ryder - Ryder couldn't decide which member of Too Cool he wanted to be so he dressed like them both? This started slow & stayed that way a LONG time, Ryder seems to love cheap heat and clearly doesn't mind it (someone needs to tell him cheap heat is s**t heat though). Ryder was all technical matwork (can he not wrestle at pace or does he gas out too quickly?) and everything vaguely exciting or entertaining came from Bourne who unfortunately has been studying at the RVD & Sabu schools of high flying and is currently working taped up. Bourne took the win off the Shooting Star Press. This was average at best, though to Riley the RSPW'er who thought this was an actual match I'd recommend watching a few of AJ Styles or Chris Daniels matches in TNA as this was average by their standards.

Chris Jericho vs John Morrison - Jericho clearly isn't over with this crowd judging by his reception as he came to the ring, I guess he stopped being over after he left to try life with his band Fozzy then came back as that obviously wasn't earning him WWE kind of money. Frankly I don't rate Morrison and never have, I feel they push him for his looks and physique as the guy rarely displaying any wrestling prowess and Jericho has been half hearted about his work rate since his return to WWE.

Morrison surprised me with a corkscrew dive onto Jericho over the top rope to the floor then those stupid f**kers in WWE cut to an advert just as things had started to look vaguely interesting completely missing Morrisons moment on top as Jericho was firmly in charge as they came back from the break. With 6 minutes of tv time left Jericho slowed it right down and really had to as he was puffing & blowing like he'd actually been doing something, Jericho was running on empty and went to wear down moves on Morrison. Morrison cranked it up several notches (so the big haired f**ker can actual wrestle then!) and Jericho badly flubbed the sell on Morrisons knee to "the temple" as the colour desk called it.

Jericho took the eventual and very scrappy win off a roll-up with the assistance of a handfull of Morrisons trousers but Morrison was by far the better worker here. All I can say to Chris Jericho is if your going to phone in a performance like that then quit whilst we vaguely still abhore you, Jericho has never bother to try and recapture his old level of fitness and muscle definition since returning and quite frankly I think he only turns up for the pay cheque.

WWE Extreme Rules 7th Jun 09 reviewed

Fatal 4 Way US Championship Match, Kofi Kingston vs William Regal vs Matt Hardy vs MVP - So Kingston finally got himself a title? I've been telling you he was talented & over since day 1, this only proves how right I was. Matt is still as fat as ever & if he had a broken hand surely they couldn't medically clear him to wrestle so thats a total work. For an "Extreme Rules" PPV there was F**K ALL Extreme about this match and it wasn't remotely exciting, Kingston was probably the best worker on show and retained his title after hitting Trouble In Paradise on Regal. Very weak way to open an Extreme PPV.

No Holds Barred Intercontinental Championship Match, Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio Jr - I don't know why WWE are making such a big fuss about Mysterio being unmasked here unless they think their fans truly are as thick as pigshit because I'd wager most smarks would be aware that Mysterio was unmasked by Kevin Nash in a WCW match back in the 90's. This went out of the ring to the floor a few times, Mysterio's Suicide Dive was nice but if WWE fans think they were getting Extreme action then they need to be switching to TNA because this kind of move happens as standard on a weekly basis in X Division matches there. The various uses of the chair were fairly nice (by the way the Legdrop with the chair is the Arabian Facebuster which Sabu made famous in ECW & the Drop Toehold into the chair is a move made famous by Raven also in ECW), Jericho managed to ruin the whole match by looking over to see when Mysterio was coming to avoid the 619 and completly f**ked the selling of the avoidance. Jericho took the eventual win after a simple roll-up to become new Intercontinental Champion.

Samoan Strap Match, Umanga vs CM Punk - So to win this you have to touch all 4 corners of the ring one after another with your hand. Punk had a chance to touch a turnbuckle in the opening minute & didn't so you knew they were going to drag this one out especially after Umaga touched 2 within moments of each other. The trouble with this match was not only were the rules not explained very well, they were overly complex & they seemed to be making new rules up as they went along. Punk took the eventual win, the match was as boring as hell and the only remotely Extreme thing was the occasional use of the leather strap. P**s poor excuse for a match if you ask me.

Triple Threat Hardcore ECW Championship Match, Christian vs Tommy Dreamer vs Jack Swagger - Triple Threat rules mean you don't have to pin the champ to win this and Hardcore rules apply as well so weapons are legal (it normally also means no DQ and falls count anywhere but I'm not sure if thats the case here or not). This did at least get Extreme but under Hardcore rules I'm not remotely surprised it did with Dreamer favouring the Singapore Cane (which Matt Striker kept calling a stick and was chastised by his broadcast colleague for continually f**king up) and Christian intially went with a garbage can lid. The 3 man suplex into the 3 garbage cans was pretty cool (and I don't think Dreamers reaction was a work either, he really did jar his ankle as he landed), but Dreamer took the win after nailing Swagger with a crutch then hitting a beautiful DDT to become ECW Champion for only the second time ever (not that this was an unexpected outcome after all the talk of him leaving if he didn't win).

Hog Pen Match, Santina Marella vs Vickie Guerrero - Basically this is mud wrestling in a pig sty, 1st person to get a pin wins the Miss Wrestlemania title. Before this even started Vickie declared it a handicap match and ordered Chavo to fight, I can only guess at how many phone calls to the American Humane Society this match caused with Chavo scaring the poor innocent pigs whose only crime was to be hired for this joke of a match. Chavo was taken out with a slop bucket to the head (the only remotely Extreme thing that happened) and Santina made the pin off the easy roll-up on Vickie to become the new Miss Wrestlemania in this truly AWFUL gimmick match.

WWE Championship Steel Cage Match, Randy Orton vs Batista - Since when have cage matches been won by pin or submission? I guess WWE really have gone to PG status then if they added that to the "only way to win is by escaping the cage with both feet touching the floor" stipulation. P**s poor match with ZERO action, nothing Extreme occurred and Batista took the win off the Batista Bomb to become new WWE Champion. I wouldn't have given this match away for free on tv.

Submission Match, The Big Show vs John Cena - This was very long, extremely boring and totally devoid of anything even vaguely resembling action. Cena took the win off the STF (isn't that actually the Crippler Crossface?) in a f**king AWFUL match where nothing Extreme happened.

World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match, Edge vs Jeff Hardy - Can anyone explain to me why the old WCW belt is the main event? No doubt somewhere in the world Ted Turner is laughing his ass off that Vince values a WCW belt over his own WWE main title. With roughly 26 minutes to fill from opening bell to the end of the show I expected this to be balls out and all action but the first few minutes was pretty slow until Hardy set up a ladder but Edge flubbed the landing by bailing out of what I assume was supposed to be a backdrop onto the ladder against the apron instead hitting it with his wrist with no-one but himself to blame for losing the confidence to not to do the backdrop Hardy had obviously set up for.

Hardy had the much better match here hitting a nice Whisper In the Wind from halfway up a huge ladder, what the colour guys thought was a running neckbreaker by Hardy looked more like an attempt on a Bulldog driving Edges head into the guard wall in front of the crowd. The double bump from the top of another big ladder breaking a 2nd ladder as they fell was an excellent spot where Hardy definately injured his shoulder.

The mid-air Twist Of Fate was truly brilliant but Hardy climbed the ladder after trapping Edge between the rungs to unhook the belt and Jeff Hardy is the new World Heavyweight Champion. Hardy had a few moments to celebrate & JR came into the ring for an interview when CM Punk came down with his Money In The Bank case and a ref to cash in his title shot against Hardy right there and then.

World Heavyweight Championship, Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk - Punk made a 2 count in moments & Hardy responded with an Inside Cradle that also only got a 2 count, Punk kicked Hardy in the head then hit the Go To Sleep to take the win and CM Punk is the new World Heavyweight Champion.

On the whole this was a p**s poor excuse for a PPV, considering it was Extreme Rules nobody bled at all and only Jeff Hardy made any kind of risky moves although Mysterio gave a vague nod to classic ECW with his use of the chair. If WWE class this as Extreme then they are going to hemorrhage fans to TNA if they see what kind of hardcore style matches go on there. Even ROH is more hardcore than this was. If you class yourself as a wrestling fan and aren't one of Vinces s**t eating sheep give ROH and TNA a look for a few weeks to see what else is on offer in the world of wrestling that isn't sports entertainment.

WWE Superstars 4th Jun 09 reviewed

Tag Match, Hornswoggle & Goldust vs The Brian Kendrick & Jamie Noble - Noble is STILL working for WWE? I thought he'd long since fallen off their radar. Goldust was probably the best worker here by far with one of his best moves suplexing Noble out of the ring over the ropes to the floor, Hornswoggle had a decent enough but very short run of moves and seemed to be VERY over with the crowd. Hornswoggle took the win off The Tadpole Splash but there was a visibly obvious flub where Kendrick had to grab him with 1 arm and repostion him for the 3 count, it was an ok match other than that howler.

David Hart Smith (with Natalya & Tyson Kidd) vs Tommy Dreamer - Smith worked ok, Dreamer wasn't anything special. Smith certainly did a decent job of selling for Dreamer including taking a nice flying clothesline off the apron. Dreamer seemed equally content selling for Smith including some nice elbow drops, my only complaint about this match was it was a bit too slow. Smith took the easy win after Natalya distracted the ref allowing Tyson Kidd to kick Dreamer in the head and Smith made a roll-up.

Tag Match, Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler vs R Truth & Jeff Hardy. It seems Ziggler fell into the WWE dressing up box and found Jeff Jarretts shorts and Sid Justice's vest? And Truth is still doing his "Whats up" entrance gimmick, rather surprising that TNA haven't put a stop to that seeing as he started it there unless WWE bought Truth and his gimmicks outright when he signed to WWE?

This started slow and stayed slow, the commercial break was taken at the worst possible time as well right during the match. If WWE events are pre-recorded can they not time matches to ensure commercial breaks don't happen whilst matches are on? Its not f**king rocket science, get someone to look at when ad breaks are scheduled for each show then work the matches around them.

Truth had a decent match, he always works well but was jobbing to Ziggler big time here which is really sad considering the amount of talent he has. Could he not replace the less talented member of Cryme Tyme? Hardy won this off the Swanton Bomb on Ziggler after Truth took out Jericho with a nice suicide dive, despite being on top for the whole match Ziggler & Jericho weren't remotely entertaining.

Tag Match, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs Primo & Carlito Colon - Colon? Honestly? They can announce that name and not burst out laughing? (It seems its spelt one way but pronounced another, still funny as f**k when its written down though) For Haas & Benjamin this must have felt like deja vu, I've never seen Primo work before. I'm assuming Charlie was off looking after his kids with wife Jackie as I haven't seen him on tv since forever. I must say this match was VERY slow, far too long and extremely boring to the point that someone (who assumed there was going to be a really s**t finish) sent out Kryme Tyme to distract Benjamin (actually causing the really s**t finish he was trying to prevent), Carlito won off the Back Stabber on Haas. P**s poor excuse for a match.

Finlay vs Jack Swagger - Is it me or has Swagger had Botox because the guy has 1 facial expression only, that stupid s**t eating grin. Swagger came from nowhere & is getting a push of HHH status, you have to wonder how much sex a man can give Pat Patterson to be getting over with Vince like this? Even on fast forward this match was painfully slow with neither guy doing very much at all, Swagger won off a farely nice gutwrench powerbomb that unsurprisingly WWE haven't coined a name for so I'll christen it The Swagger Smash (and expect to be paid if you use that on TV WWE).

Obscenely long segment about the basketball issue. WWE milking it for every last red cent I see. Have they actually bothered suing over it or not? If not they need to be shutting the f**k up and getting the f**k over it.

John Cena vs Ted Dibiase Jr - At least I bill him correctly which is more than you can say for WWE. According to colour he's his own father as they didn't refer to the Million Dollar Man as Senior either. This was corner to corner at the start but on the whole pretty dull to be honest as far as actual action went, Cena took the win after hitting a nice legdrop and hooking the SPF.

ECW Championship Match - Christian vs Tommy Dreamer. Average at best is the nicest thing I can say about this match, it seems Christian doesn't bump anywhere near as hard now as he did for TNA. It was mostly mat work and I don't think anyone expected the title to change hands here, sending Swagger out on a run-in shows how little Creativity WWE have these days. The match was ruled a no contest but technically Dreamer should have got the win off DQ by outside interference as Christian was responsible for Swagger entering the ring so that ref has a poor grasp on the rules in my opinion.

Kofi Kingston vs William Regal - Regal was above average for him but it sounds like he has killer heel heat at the moment, Kingston is always a good worker though. Kofi Kingston took the win off Trouble In Paradise.

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk - So it seems Jericho is still sticking with the image of Eddie Izzards fatter older brother then? Overly long match with little action, Punk took the win off an Inside Cradle.

This weeks Superstars was poor but no-where near as bad this weeks TNA Impact. At least you didn't have to watch someone fight a cardboard cut-out.

WWE Superstars 14th May 09 reviewed

Rey Mysterio vs Shelton Benjamin - Fairly average match, no f**king clue why they had a break to run a video package about Jeff Hardy vs Edge 8 minutes into the match. It didnt get a great deal better with Mysterio taking the win off a springboard splash. Post match fracas between Benjamin & John Morrison who'd been at the colour desk, almost certainly to further some storyline no-one will care about.

Overly long video package about Batista.

Mark Henry vs Christian - I see they are STILL using "Worlds Strongest Man" to bill Henry, not only is it inaccurate its false advertising as Henry has NEVER taken part in a WSM contest let alone win it. This match was so dull I didn't even notice the finish, Christian made a reverse cross body block to take the win.

Overly long "RAW Rebound" segment. Look WWE, its f**king SIMPLE! If I want to know about RAW I'll watch F**KING RAW! It's s**t like that that proves week in and week out that WWE just DON'T have the talent to even fill a 1 hour show. Advert for Judgement Day PPV. Overly long video package about Big Show and John Cena. Yet more proof if you needed it that WWE can't fill a 1 hour show with actual wrestling.

Exhibition Match, The Big Show vs Hornswoggle - No you aren't dreaming, thats a real pairing in competition. It's f**kwitted bulls**t gimmick matches like this that keep showing how little clue the employees of the WWE "Creative" department have. Unless their playing this as a storyline for Cena to get revenge then this will be a VERY short squash match.

Nothing worth talking about in this match, Goldust came down to save Hornswoggle and I assume the bell was the ref calling for a DQ by outside interference on Hornswoggle with the win going to The Big Show. A truly POINTLESS waste of tv time and money.

Every week I wonder if this show can get any worse and it always manages to do exactly that. STOP THE ROT WWE!

Show opens with Edge coming out to waffle with Jeff Hardy, Edge gets an ass-kicking for his troubles.

Diva Tag Match - Santina & Kelly Kelly vs Rosa Mendes & Beth Phoenix. Do WWE really value their women so lowly that they have to throw a man in drag into this bringing it down to gimmick match status? Thankfully Santina was out quickly and Kelly made a nicely sold snap Hurricanrana into a near fall on Phoenix, the headscissors was WAY oversold and clearly Kelly isn't that well versed in WWE history by doing her springboard backsplash (she doesn't remember how badly injured Chyna got doing that very same move).

To be honest this match was mainly Kelly (she's a noisy little f**ker isn't she, more pornstar moans than convincingly sounding in pain) but the match was slowed down at the wrong time with the weardown move by Mendes on Kelly. Kelly made the pin on Mendes (was Mendes even legal?) in a fairly average match. Kelly Kelly is a good worker as she showed here, maybe if she wound her vocal reactions down a few notches she'd be a bit more bearable.

Finlay vs Zack Ryder. It seems Ryder fell into the WWE dressing up box and came out wearing Grand Master Sexays outfit? Not a great match (And I'm being overly generous saying that), I couldn't really tell who was supposed to be getting over here. Ryder didn't show much in the way of skill & Finlay hasn't never been overly talented (can anyone believe he used to be a trainer at WCW's Powerplant?) even at his best which was in his WCW hardcore days. Finlay took the eventual win in this very dull match, shouldn't Finlay really be considering retirement at his age?

Chris Jericho vs John Morrison. So Jericho is sticking with the "Eddie Izzards fatter brother" image? It's still not working for him. Truly s**t match with f**k all action, Jericho took the win off The Codebreaker after Morrison was distracted by Shelton Benjamin on the Titantron.

This was 3 average at best matches, the women worked well but having Santino in there just dragged the match down to ridiculous status. Phoenix & Kelly worked well together, I didn't really see enough of Mendes to form a fair opinion. Santino is s**t and always has been, his gimmick is c**p and the female gimmick is even worse. This show hasn't been able to impress yet and its keeping up the bad work. Way to go WWE.

Divas Tag Match - Gail Kim & Maria vs Alicia Fox & Michelle McCool. Actually a very decent match by all involved, Kim & Maria probably had the better match but McCool took the win for her team in a match that could have done with a slightly better finish but still a good curtain jerker.

Paul Burchill (with Katie Lea) vs Evan Bourne. It seems that the colour guys are now using "Air Bourne" as a nickname for Evan, rather gratifying considering I'm the one who created the name originally for his finisher and WWE took me up on my offer to steal and use it. Its rather sad to see someone as talented as Evan jobbing to Burchill in order to put over a heel with a pretty crap gimmick and even worse heat, Burchill was all power & weardown moves with Bourne providing all the real entertainment off the high flying aerial stuff. Bourne was selling a bad knee which Burchill targeted and stuck with but Bourne got a near fall from a nice flying forearm but took the eventual win off Air Bourne. Average match that was a little too long, Burchill needs to learn a few more moves if I am honest as he's a 1 trick pony getting by on his Triple H type looks.

Ted DiBiase Jr (with Cody Rhodes) vs Carlito. So the tag titles have been unified across RAW & Smackdown now then? This was pretty much a squash match for Dibiase Jr with Carlito selling like crazy to get Ted Jr over in the heel role, not much in the way of substance or entertainment come to that but both guys got an ample bite of the cherry and the match was fairly even with Dibiase Jr taking the win off a modified chokeslam. Not a good match at all, Carlito was the better worker but thats not saying much as he did practically f**k all and Dibiase Jr did even less.

To be frank the best match on the card was a chuck up between the Divas tagmatch and Evan Bournes match, the divas had a very good match and were allowed to work a decent program. The only way Bourne could have had a better match would have been if he'd had an opponant with an ounce of talent, stick him up against someone like Shelton Benjamin or Kofi Kingston which would make for a miles better match. WWE still aren't capitalizing on this show yet but it was better this week than it has been but it could be MUCH better still.

I assume the show was coming from somewhere in England judging by the black cab & the double decker bus?

Tag Match - Rey Mysterio Jr & CM Punk vs The Big Show & Kane. This appeared to be a pretty pointless squash match on the face of it, I expected it to be utter sh**e and WWE didn't disappoint. It was overly long (by at least 5 minutes), all the decent action came from Punk & Mysterio but Kane took the win off a Chokeslam. VERY weak start to the show.

Mixed Tag Match - Finlay & Hornswoggle vs Tyson Kidd & Natalya. It seems from the prematch video that they now have someone as talented as Natalya jobbing to a gimmicky a***ehole like Hornswoggle, thats pretty f**king pathetic and shows how little WWE value their female talent. Thankfully this pile of s**t that they laughingly called a match was over in a few minutes after Finlay used the Shillelagh on Kidd and Hornswoggle took the win off the Tadpole Splash. Ultra f**king weak and idiots like these shouldn't even be on tv let alone being put over at the expense of good talent like Natalya.

A "Raw Rebound" telling us what happened on RAW recently. If I wanted to know whats happening on RAW I'd WATCH f**king RAW! This is just more proof that WWE hasn't got enough talent to fill 4 shows a week (they can barely fill 3 shows a week!).

Edge vs Kofi Kingston - It's nice to see Kofi getting a main event against someone as currently high profile as Edge, hopefully it shows their taking his ability seriously (unless the match has a s**t finish for the sake of an even s**ttier storyline that no-one cares about). Of the 10 minutes they had to fill Kofi was on top for about 5 of them and made 5 near falls before Edge finally took the fairly predictable win off the Spear.

This was the 2nd week of this show and on the whole it was just as s**t this week as it was last week if not worse (the mixed tag match was unforgivable quite frankly) and if they'd not bothered with the RAW rebound Edge & Kofi could have had a 15 minute match.
