My Weekly TNA Catch-up, Impact 24th Sep 09 reviewed

Show opens with the MEM yakking on the mic, Kurt Angle whines & The World Elite come down to join them.
No DQ Anything Goes Street Fight, Suicide vs D'Angelo Dinero - Dinero jumped Suicide, not sure why Dineros ribs were taped, he took no body injuries at the PPV. I guess Russo thought we're not already sick to death of seeing these 2 work each other, its only been a few matches & I'm already pig sick of it. Was that ECW star CW Anderson in the front row? It looked just like him. For a hardcore match this was pretty s**t, no spots worth calling either. Suicide took the win off The Suicide Solution into a garbage can. (S**t match #1)
Grudge Match, Rhino vs Brother Devon - Devon jumped Rhino at the bottom of the ramp but this was in then back out of the ring, Devon got busted open somewhere before he sidestepped the Gore from Rhino who smashed right into the guard rail as Earl Hebner called for the bell the colour desk called this one a double count out. I am not even going to discuss what happened post match, POINTLESS. (S**t match #2)
Knockout Tagteam Championship, Taylor Wilde & Sarita vs Tara & ODB - Erm, where the f**k is Christy Hemme? Why has ODB taken her spot with Tara? Now this was shaping up to be a REALLY good match, it had some great spots then that retard Russo sent Awesome Kong out which distracted Tara off the apron as she fought Kong into the backstage area. ODB put up an ok fight on her own but Wilde took the win when Sarita hit the Missile Dropkick allowing Wilde to pin off the Bridging Suplex. Never once did anyone mention why Taras former partner Christy Hemme wasn't teaming with her here tonight.
X Division Championship, Daniels vs Homicide vs Samoa Joe - So this is the rubber match from the weekends PPV (Why? It had a clean finish, Daniels has no right to any rematch) but Joe has Homicide who is not really going to be a challenger here. Pretty predictably it was a handicap match for Daniels who Joe took out and almost pinned off The Muscle Buster but Homicide got lippy and took a Fall Away Slam for his troubles, Samoa Joe took the eventual win off the Rear Naked Choke after Homicide tapped out. (S**t match #3)
Tag Match, Eric Young & Kurt Angle vs Hernandez & Matt Morgan - A p**s poor match with no spots to speak of, after a Splash by Hernandez on Angle & Young Morgan took the win with The Carbon Footprint on Young. S**t match, s**t finish and I was left wondering how they were going to fill the last 23 minutes of the show. (S**t match #4)
Jethro Holliday vs Bobby Lashley - 1st Commandment of Lashley, thou shalt job whilst putting me over. Lashley won off some sort of Reverse Chokehold that Holliday tapped out of or at least I assume he did as the ref just called for the bell (he was tapping on Lashleys far shoulder so it was very difficult to see on camera). (S**t match #5)
Tagteam Championship, Scott Steiner & Booker T vs Abyss & Mick Foley - With all the hullabulloo Foley had been making during the course of the show it was predictable what was going happen here, I forsaw Foley having found out Abyss smashed the picture he was going to beat him up leaving MEM to retain their titles. Abyss was trying out 3 faces of Foley tonight (Classic Foley with the Flannel Shirt, Dude Love with the Tye dye T-shirt & Mankind with the mask) so I wonder how long it will be before Abyss wears leopard print Cowboy boots to the ring. After an epic beating Abyss tagged Foley in who predictably nailed Abyss with the Double Arm DDT then tagged Abyss back in allowing Booker to take an easy win off the Axe Kick. Post Match Foley attacked Abyss with the video tape smashing it in his face busting him open then whaling on him with the barbed wire bat. (S**t match #6)
We had 7 matches, 6 of them were utter s**t & the other had a shit finish a worse run-in & worse storyline to raise heat which could have been done in a MUCH better way. In the womens match if they wanted ODB to have heat with Tara all they had to do was get them to have a miscommunication which led to ODB clotheslining Tara costing them the match. More believable and way more entertaining than the s**t Russo came up with. And I still want to know why the team of Hemme & Tara suddenly vapourised so quickly. Bring on Lacey Von Erich, things might start picking up then. I assume they are trying to make a feud between Hamada & Alissa Flash too? If they are going to do do that either write out Raisha Saeed or reveal her to be Flash, sooner rather than later. Which ever idea they use, do it soon.
