Dharma Doll walkthru

previously the game was completable without finding the 1st symbol but the author fixed that so here is the full walkthru using all objects.

View of front door, main room:-
click the cover on the right chair, get the power lead under it.
ignore that red box on the left chair that needs 3 symbols to open it, we'll focus on it later.
click the middle shelf of the cupboard in the far left corner for a box cutter.
ignore the code box above it & the object below it does nothing.

its not important, i was just asking ;-)

in the background click the box on the door then get the newspaper, clicking the bit of paper sticking out of it.
THATS a clue, easy enough if you know your 3 times table. or you could just google them. like i did ;-)
2 o'clock = 60. so 1 o'clock =30. 6 o'clock+8 o'clock+11 o'clock, or 180+240+330=750 (if you cant work it out yourself use google).
enter 750 then click the button on the box to get the black ink.
the 2 images on the wall are clues we use later so ignore them for now. click the arrow at the bottom to see:-

click the object on the table, its a cookie in a bag. also get the blue cup, we'll use both later.
drag the power lead to the tv for the worlds smallest clue, you might want to take a screengrab & zoom into it.
its telling you to use the box cutter on the top right corner of one of the chairs behind you.
so turn around & use it on the top right corner of the right chair to get a paint brush then turn back around.
view the paint & use the brush on it to get an inky brush, use that on the red statue to paint in his eyes (click it twice).
which gives you a clue behind him, nice one weird red statue dude!

click the panel to zoom in, thats a clue to open the door in that view, count how many points each shape has.
564 is the answer, ok?
enter 564 on the panel by the door, that door is now open but we're not going in there yet. why not?
because we need to open the safe by the door & get our power lead back, we need it again elsewhere thats why.
click the power lead to get it back then click the shelf above the tv.
looks like a clue? thats because it is & a darn sneaky one too!

looks like the safe combo is 5 left, 7 right, 6 left? WRONG!
imagine you are standing where they are, its actually 5 right, 7 left, 6 right.
you'll know it worked because you'll hear a click, you safe cracking ace!
click the safe handle & grab whats inside, its not useful right now - I'll tell you what it is later.
open the door and we're into a new room:-

dressing room
use the box cutter on the box (duh, obviously genius!) & get the swirly thing. i have no clue what it is.
click the orange then blue dresses on the hanger (i guess the character we're playing is either a girl or a closet transvestite then?) & note the clue.

F=2, SxOxD. also note the calendar on the wall, its a month with not many days in.
february maybe, as its the 2nd month? F=2!
so thats september times october times december or 9x10x12=1080 (thanks google calculator!)

zoom into the left cupboard, enter 1080 then zoom out & open it to get matches.
please be careful with them, matches are not toys!
get the bottle of water then open the right cupboard to get the other bit of the object from the safe - its a key! but its broken so dont celebrate yet!
use the water on the jug on the table then use the lead on the outlet. its a kettle!

leave the room & return then use the blue cup on the kettle to get a mug full of hot water which makes a cloud symbol appear. remember that, ok? we can return to:-

view swirly thing & use matches on it, oh noes! its on fire!
dont panic, use the smoking swirly thing on the pig statue to get a sun symbol.
we have 3 symbols & can open the box behind us. turn around to:-

zoom into the box on the left chair & note the painting next to it.
swirly thing, cup, round thing.
the swirly thing code came from the pig, it was a sun.
the cup gave us the cloud symbol.
the round thing is the cookie in your inventory,
zoom in & click it, theres a juggling snowman on the back of it so use that as the final symbol.
the whole code is sun, cloud, snowman.
click the box to get instant glue, sounds useful? it is!
zoom into the 2 halves of the key then use the glue on them for a whole key, much more useful!

use the key on the door. did i just hear a click? your darn tooting i did.
click the handle and you are outta there baby, well done.
