When your watching a film purely to see how cute the lead actress looks in it then your watching it for all the wrong reasons. Like I was, in fact. Luke Wilson is bearable, not funny, not a great actor but tolerable in most of his scenes. Uma Thurman is stunning, plays crazy like a fox but then she had previous experience from playing Poison Ivy in the Batman flick. I don't know anything about Anna Faris or the guy who plays Luke Wilson's friend (I assume he's gay?). Farris didn't get interesting until she became a redhead, Wilson's friend was just annoying the whole time.
Eddie Izzard was a major bonus for me in this film, I'm a huge fan of anything he does and enjoyed all his on screen time. He filled his role well but was slightly typecast as an English villain. All in all the film is pretty OK, a bit iffy in places but bearable on the whole. Eddie Izzard fans and Uma Thurman fans should like it.
