Movie Review - Night at the Museum

Ben Stiller makes this film hard to watch. If it's supposed to be a comedy it isn't funny. The drama element is so pathetic it's unreal. Stiller plays a dad who gets a job as a night-watchman at a Museum where things come alive at night. And once you've seen that happen once, you've seen the whole film. Honestly.

The supporting cast includes Mickey Rooney (painful to watch but still underused), Dick Van Dyke (totally unbelievable as a crook, sorry), Owen Wilson (rubbish in his role), Steve Coogan (wasted in his role) and Ricky Gervais (not funny in this or anything else ever).

The plot is painfully thin, Robin Williams is totally wasted in the movie and they could have done so much more with the exhibits coming alive. I hated it. Avoid!
